We are delighted to join you in prayer and support as you prepare for a time of fasting and prayer. It is wonderful that you have chosen to dedicate this time to the Lord and to seek His face. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that can bring us closer to God and make our prayers more effective.
Let us first address the power of the name of Jesus. You mentioned that you are coming before the Lord, but it is essential to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me,'" and in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has set tomorrow aside for fasting and prayer. We pray that You will sanctify their motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors, so that everything they do will be a sweet fragrance and a beautiful offering to You, Lord Jesus.
Strengthen them by Your Spirit for this time of fasting and prayer. Let Your will be done in their life, and hear their prayers and expressions of gratitude with great power and might. May this time be grounded in Your Living Word and guided by Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for their healing and freedom in spirit, soul, and body, through the wounds and the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. May Your healing power flow into their life, bringing restoration and wholeness.
Lord Jesus, as we go to the Father, we ask all of these things in Your precious name. We thank You for hearing our prayers. Let the glory of God be evident in their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in this manner, seeking God's will and drawing closer to Him. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:17-18 WEB "But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face; so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you." Keep your focus on the Lord, and He will surely bless and reward your efforts.
May the Lord bless you richly as you seek Him with all your heart.
