It is wonderful that you have chosen to dedicate this time to seek God's face and align your motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors with His will. Fasting is a powerful biblical practice that helps us draw closer to God and seek His will more intently. As it is written in Joel 2:12-13, "Even now," declares Yahweh, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning." Rend your heart, and not your garments, return to Yahweh your God".

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has set tomorrow apart for fasting and prayer. We pray that You will sanctify, inspire, and bless this time, that every thought, word, and deed will be pleasing to You and bring glory to the name of Jesus. Strengthen them by Your Spirit, that they may persevere in their fast and remain steadfast in prayer.
Lord, we ask that You will hear their prayers and gratitude, and that You will answer with great power and might. May their voice be heard loudly before the throne of Jesus Christ, and may their fasting and prayer be guided and anointed by Your Holy Spirit, firmly rooted in Your Living Word.
We also pray for their healing and freedom in spirit, soul, and body, through the wounds and the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
