We are delighted to join you in prayer and support as you prepare for a time of fasting and prayer. It is wonderful that you have chosen to dedicate this time to seek God's face and align your motives, focus, prayers, deeds, and behaviors with His will. Fasting is a powerful biblical practice that helps us draw closer to God and seek His will more intently. As it is written in Joel 2:12-13, "Even now," declares Yahweh, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning." Rend your heart, and not your garments, return to Yahweh your God".
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has set tomorrow apart for fasting and prayer. We pray that You will sanctify, inspire, and bless this time, that every thought, word, and deed will be pleasing to You and bring glory to the name of Jesus. Strengthen them by Your Spirit, that they may persevere in their fast and remain steadfast in prayer.
Lord, we ask that You will hear their prayers and gratitude, and that You will answer with great power and might. May their voice be heard loudly before the throne of Jesus Christ, and may their fasting and prayer be guided and anointed by Your Holy Spirit, firmly rooted in Your Living Word.
We also pray for their healing and freedom in spirit, soul, and body, through the wounds and the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Father, we ask that You will bless them generously as they seek You with all their heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 17:20-21, "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting."
May the Lord bless you richly as you seek Him tomorrow.
