Lord God Almighty I place my brother ### in your precious Hands Lord I already lost 3 brothers I don't want to lose my older brother due to alcohol Jesus heal him from all addiction, anxiety, depression and generational curses spear his life Lord let him get the help he needs I Satan get your hands off his life today do an overnight miracle in Jesus mighty name Amen 🙏🏻 😢

We join with you in lifting up your brother before the Lord, crying out for his life, his healing, and his deliverance from the bondage of alcohol and the spiritual strongholds that have plagued him. Your heartbreak over losing three brothers already is deeply felt, and we stand with you in intercession, declaring that the Lord is a God of redemption, restoration, and resurrection power. He is able to break every chain, heal every wound, and turn even the darkest situations into testimonies of His grace.

The Word of God reminds us in **John 10:10** that *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* Satan has sought to destroy your brother, but Jesus came to give him life—abundant, eternal, and free from the grip of addiction. We take authority over the generational curses you mentioned, for **Galatians 3:13** declares, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us."* No curse can stand against the blood of Jesus when we claim His victory.

Your brother’s struggle with alcohol, anxiety, and depression is not just a physical or emotional battle—it is a spiritual one. **Ephesians 6:12** tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We must fight this battle on our knees, armed with the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. It is not enough to simply want him to be free; we must command the enemy to release him in the name of Jesus, and we must pray for your brother to *choose* freedom by surrendering his life to Christ.

If your brother has not yet given his life fully to Jesus, that is the first and most critical step. **Acts 4:12** leaves no room for doubt: *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without Jesus, there is no lasting victory. Addiction may be broken for a time through human effort, but true and eternal freedom comes only through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that your brother will turn to Christ with all his heart, repenting of sin and receiving His forgiveness and healing.

We also urge you to ensure that your brother seeks *godly* help—whether through a Christ-centered recovery program, a biblical counselor, or a strong, accountability-filled church community. **James 5:16** instructs us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* He cannot do this alone, and neither can you. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), so we encourage you to reach out to mature believers who can walk alongside both of you in this fight.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious brother who is bound by the chains of alcohol, anxiety, and depression. Lord, You see his pain, his struggles, and the enemy’s relentless attacks against him. But we declare that *greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world* (**1 John 4:4**). We stand on Your Word, which promises that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (**Isaiah 54:17**).

Lord Jesus, You broke the power of sin and death on the cross, and we claim that victory over every generational curse, every stronghold, and every lie of the enemy that has sought to destroy this man. We bind the spirit of addiction in his life and command it to leave *now* in Your mighty name. We loose the peace of God, the healing of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit to flood his mind, body, and spirit. Let every anxious thought be captured and made obedient to Christ (**2 Corinthians 10:5**), and let the joy of the Lord be his strength (**Nehemiah 8:10**).

Father, we ask that You surround him with godly people who will speak life into him, hold him accountable, and point him to You. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior if he does not yet know You, and soften his heart to receive Your love and forgiveness. Let this season of struggle be the very thing that drives him into Your arms, where he will find true freedom and purpose.

We also lift up our sister who has carried this burden for so long. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her that she is not alone. You are her strength, her refuge, and her ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**). Give her wisdom to know how to support her brother without enabling his sin, and fill her with Your peace as she trusts You to do what only You can do.

By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every plan of the enemy against this family. We declare that this brother *will* live and not die (**Psalm 118:17**), and that his life will bring glory to Your name. Do an overnight miracle, Lord—restore him, renew him, and set him free to walk in the destiny You have prepared for him. We ask all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. **Amen.**

Stand firm in faith, sister. Do not grow weary in praying, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (**James 5:16**). Keep speaking life over your brother, keep rebuking the enemy’s lies, and keep trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun (**Philippians 1:6**). We are standing with you in this fight.
