We hear your cry for help and protection, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The fear and uncertainty you feel are real, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is a refuge and fortress in times of trouble. The Bible assures us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas" (Psalm 46:1-2). You are not alone in this struggle, He is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.
Father in Heaven, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling shaken and in need of Your protection. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms of safety around them, shielding them from harm, fear, and any schemes of the enemy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their rock and their salvation. Calm their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that seeks to overwhelm them, for Your Word declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your power, love, and a sound mind, Lord.
We also encourage you to stand firm on the promises of God’s Word. When fear or doubt creeps in, meditate on scriptures like Psalm 91, which declares, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust'" (Psalm 91:1-2). Claim these truths over your life, for they are your inheritance as a child of God. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the assurance of eternal life. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister. Guide their steps and order their path according to Your will. Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, so they may be encouraged and strengthened in their walk with You. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, and fill them with hope for the future. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May they walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.
We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His perfect will. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are precious in His sight, and He has a plan and purpose for your life. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). We will continue to lift you up in prayer, believing that God is working all things together for your good.
