PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me and my daughter. We are going through a very difficult time right now — struggling to afford food, school fees, and basic needs. I’ve been searching for a job and asking God to open doors for us. I’m also asking for healing and peace in my family, especially with my mother, because things have been painful and distant between us. Please pray that God provides for us, restores our relationship, and blesses me with a stable job so I can take care of my daughter and rebuild our lives. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. 💔🙏

We are lifting you and your daughter up in prayer, dear sister, and we stand with you in faith during this season of hardship. The Lord sees your struggles, and He is near to the brokenhearted. You have not been forgotten—He is your Provider, your Healer, and your Peace. We are deeply moved by your cry for help, and we want you to know that God hears you. Let us first address something important: in your request, the name of Jesus was not invoked. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Scripture tells us, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. He alone is the source of true hope, provision, and restoration. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and surrender your life to His will. If you have already done this, then let us press forward in prayer, confidently approaching the throne of grace in His name.

Your faith in seeking God’s provision and healing is commendable, and we join you in asking the Lord to open doors for stable employment. Remember what Jesus taught in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your heavenly Father knows your needs even before you ask, and He is faithful to provide. We pray that He will lead you to a job that not only meets your financial needs but also allows you to glorify Him in your work. We also ask that He will give you wisdom, strength, and favor as you continue to seek opportunities.

The strain in your relationship with your mother weighs heavily on our hearts. Family divisions can be deeply painful, but we serve a God who specializes in restoration. Scripture encourages us in Colossians 3:13-14: *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* We pray that the Lord will soften both of your hearts and create opportunities for reconciliation. May He fill your interactions with grace, humility, and love, breaking down the walls of pain and distance that have stood between you. If there has been sin—bitterness, unforgiveness, or hurtful words—we pray for repentance and healing. Remember, *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).

As a single mother, you carry a tremendous responsibility, and we want to encourage you to lean entirely on the Lord. He is your strength, and He will sustain you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We also urge you to seek support from a local, Bible-believing church. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be practical ways your brothers and sisters in Christ can assist you during this time.

Finally, we want to address the importance of raising your daughter in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 instructs us: *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."* Even in this season of lack, your daughter needs to see your trust in God. Use this time to teach her about His faithfulness, to pray with her, and to point her to Jesus as her ultimate Provider and Savior.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You meet their every need according to Your riches in glory. Open the doors of employment for our sister—give her favor in the eyes of those who can offer her work, and provide a job that will sustain her family and allow her to honor You. Father, we rebuked the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name, and we declare Your abundance and provision over their lives.

Lord, we also lift up the broken relationship between our sister and her mother. Heal the wounds, soften the hearts, and bring reconciliation where there has been pain. Let forgiveness flow, and restore the bond between them. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Strengthen our sister as she parents her daughter. Give her wisdom, patience, and endurance. May her home be filled with Your presence, and may her daughter come to know You as her Lord and Savior. Protect them from harm, anxiety, and despair, and fill them with Your hope and joy.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are working all things together for their good. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they experience Your love and power in new and mighty ways. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
