Please keep me in your prayers as I am going to lead the Youth Ministry for the first time. Pray that God would use me with **great glory, power, and His anointing**, and always keep the doors of His Word open for me, so that He may reveal **deep truths and revelations for the youth* Please pray that the Holy Spirit would lead and use me mightily.

We rejoice with you as you step out in faith to lead the Youth Ministry for the first time and we count it a privilege to join you in prayer for this holy calling. To shepherd young hearts is a great responsibility and a beautiful opportunity to point the next generation to Christ, and we thank God for your willing heart to serve Him.

We want to gently encourage you regarding your desire for great glory, power and anointing. We share your longing to be mightily used by God, and we are reminded that all glory belongs to Him alone. He says in Isaiah 42:8, I am Yahweh, that is my name. I will not give my glory to another. And we are called in 1 Corinthians 10:31 that whatever we do, we do all to the glory of God. So we pray not that you would be glorified, but that Christ would be glorified through you, and that His power would rest upon you in humility and holiness for the sake of the youth. We also remember James 3:1 which reminds us that teachers will receive a stricter judgment, so we pray you will lead with reverence, prayer and diligent study of the Word.

We noticed your request mentions God and the Holy Spirit but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can boldly come before God in prayer. We encourage you to always come in the name of Jesus, trusting in Him alone as Lord and Savior, and to make Him central in all you teach the youth, for there is no true power or anointing apart from Him.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear servant to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for calling and equipping Your child for this work. We ask that You anoint and empower this leader by Your Holy Spirit, for Acts 1:8 promises that you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. Let Your power work through weakness and humility so that Christ is clearly seen. We pray that You keep the door of Your Word wide open, as in Colossians 4:3, that you may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ. Give deep wisdom and revelation as You have promised in James 1:5 that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Lead this leader to study diligently and rightly divide the word of truth according to 2 Timothy 2:15, and to be an example to the youth in speech, love, faith and purity as taught in 1 Timothy 4:12. We ask that You reveal deep truths from Your Word not for show but to transform hearts, and that the youth would grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Guard this leader from pride and discouragement, fill this one with love, patience and courage, and let everything be done to build up the body of Christ for Your glory alone. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with mature believers who can mentor you as you lead. Trust the Holy Spirit to guide every lesson and conversation, and always point the youth to Jesus, to repentance, faith, and a life of holiness before God. The Lord is faithful to equip those He calls, and we are praying that He will bear much lasting fruit through your obedience.

Father, raise up, love, disciple and send forth laborers into areas like (several hard to reach places and areas hit recently by famine, wars, earthquakes, persecution, FLOODS (and prepare the next areas to be impacted in advance, John 14:29, Gen 41:25-48 Genesis 41:25–48 ). Help them in their worship, love, study, preaching, and teaching. Raise up men and women, Joel 2:28-29, Acts 2:17-18, with faith like THE MALE AND FEMALE MISSIONARY COUPLES, HOMELESS AND POOR OUTREACH FOUNDERS AND FOUNDERS OF ORPHANAGES AND BIBLE SCHOOLS THAT HAVE BEEN IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN FOR 100, 200, 300 YEARS, et cetera, to found missions, orphanages, James 1:27, and schools that teach TRUE doctrine, 1 Tim 4:16, and whose GOAL is LOVE from a PURE HEART, a Good CONSCIENCE and a SINCERE FAITH, 1 Tim 1:5.

Please guard young and old alike, indeed all believers, from deception, Matt 24:4, wrongdoing, fear and lies, Zeph 3:13, doing wrong, 2 Cor 13:7, evil people and imposters in these last days, 2 Tim 3:13, from those that "profess to know God but by their deeds deny Him," Tit 1:16, and help them turn away from such that have a "form of godliness but deny it's power," 2 Tim 3:5. Strengthen the true believers in CHRIST to study and do their diligence to learn and accurately handle Your Word, 2 Tim 2:15, and keep them from the source of all lies, the devil, John 8:44, Gen 3:1-15, and ancient serpent, Rev 12:9, who spews unholy water, Rev 12:12, the only antidote is the washing of the sanctifying Word of Christ, John 13:10, John 15:3, John 17:17, Eph 5:26-27, and overcoming him by The Blood of The Lamb, the word of their testimony, and being so confident of eternal life, the glory of suffering and the resurrection of the righteous they do not make their earthly life an idol but rather confess Christ while facing death, Rev 12:11.

Do not let the gates of hell be able to restrain the church You build there or anywhere else in the world, Matt 16:18. Help the church in all nations make herself ready by the righteous acts of the ones Jesus made holy, Rev 19:7-8. Do not take us out of the world, but let the Gospel go forth purely and boldly through us, Eph 6:18-19, be received, 2 Thes 3:1, and be kept from evil and unbelieving people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the source of all murder, lies, falsehood, deception and evil himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. We're grateful you shared this with us. Stepping into youth ministry for the first time takes courage and a real love for the next generation, and we hear how much you want to serve them well and stay rooted in God's Word.

What encourages us is your desire to be led by the Holy Spirit rather than just relying on your own energy. Youth don't need a perfect leader, they need a faithful and caring one who shows up, listens, and points them steadily to Christ. Your willingness to do that is already a gift to them.

One practical step that often helps in these first weeks is to sit down briefly with your pastor or a trusted mentor in the church. Share your hopes for the group, ask what they have seen work well with these students, and invite them to pray for you regularly and give you honest feedback as you go. Having that support keeps you grounded and not carrying this alone.

Father, we thank You for calling our friend to serve these young people. Anoint them for the work You have given, give them wisdom as they open Your Word, and lead them by Your Spirit week by week. We rejoice to hear of the burden the Lord has laid upon your heart for the youth, and we will indeed keep you in prayer as you step into this ministry for the first time.

Your prayer is right and scriptural, for without the Holy Spirit there is no life and no power. A holy work must be done by the Spirit of Holiness, and no man can become holy or make others holy except by Him. We will pray that the Holy Spirit, whom Christ is prepared to give immeasurably to those who seek Him, will rest upon you as you preach and teach, for until our preachers and teachers honor the Holy Spirit and confess their entire dependence upon Him, we shall not see His abundant manifestation.

We will pray that your ministry may be truly in the Holy Spirit and through the Holy Spirit. That which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh, and it cannot profit. May you be taught to pray in the Holy Spirit, in His power and by His help, for He will tell you how to pray and will make intercession through you. Cry mightily unto God for this, for without the Holy Spirit you utterly fail, but when He is pouring His life into you, even your weakest endeavor will prosper.

We will pray also that you may not grieve the Holy Spirit, whose tender love has made your heart His palace. He is grieved by unholiness of life and by unbelief, and when He is grieved usefulness ceases and the work becomes barren. Walk then according to the Gospel, live in holiness, and keep close to Christ, frequenting earnest prayer and the fellowship of earnest saints, with this daily cry, Return, O Holy Spirit, return and dwell in my soul.

And we will pray that the doors of His Word may remain open to you, and that you may imitate the Holy Spirit in this, that He receives of Christ and shows it unto us. He does not lead us to gadding about after trifling things, but deals with the things of Christ to glorify Christ. May you therefore speak only what the Holy Spirit has told you from the Word, and may He bless those truths to the minds and hearts of the youth by enabling them to see Christ as He is revealed. There the anointing is most manifest, when Christ alone is magnified as Saviour.

May the whole blessed Godhead work in your midst, the Father glorifying the Son, and the Holy Spirit glorifying Jesus, and may many of these young souls hear His voice today and harden not their hearts. We ask the Lord to give you deep truths from His Word, not for curiosity, but that Christ may be made known, loved, and trusted.

We commit you and this youth ministry to Him who alone can quicken those who are dead in trespasses and sins, praying that He will use you mightily and keep you faithful. Amen.
