We join with you in lifting up this precious request before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have invoked the holy name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* What a mighty promise we cling to as we intercede for this beloved one!
The health and well-being of those we love are deep concerns of the heart, and we know that our Heavenly Father cares even more deeply. The Psalmist declares in Psalm 139:13-16 how intricately He has formed each of us, and in Psalm 138:8, we are assured, *"Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands."* How comforting it is to know that the Lord watches over His children with such tender care!
Yet, we also recognize that our ultimate trust must not rest in perfect health or earthly safety, but in the sovereign will of God, who works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even in times of weakness or illness, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our frailty (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that this beloved one would walk in faith, knowing that whether in health or in trial, the Lord is her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We earnestly pray for her protection from disease, strokes, and all harm, asking the Lord to guard her heart—both physically and spiritually. May He fill her with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grant her a heart that is wholly devoted to Him. Let her days be marked by wisdom in caring for the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), honoring God with her body and her choices.
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your divine protection, as it is written in Psalm 91: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* Lord, be her shield and her strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). Keep her from all evil, and let no harm come near her dwelling. Strengthen her body, renew her mind, and fill her spirit with Your Holy Presence.
We also pray that if there are areas in her life where she needs to surrender more fully to You—whether in diet, habits, stress, or trust—You would gently convict and lead her. May she seek You first in all things, knowing that as she delights in You, You will give her the desires of her heart (Psalm 37:4).
Finally, we ask that You would prepare her heart for whatever Your will may be. If it is Your purpose to heal and protect her in this season, we give You thanks and praise! But if You allow trials to come, let them serve to draw her closer to You, refining her faith like gold (1 Peter 1:6-7). Remind her that even in suffering, You are near, and Your plans for her are good.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, knowing that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him (Matthew 28:18). May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying with faith and persistence, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power (James 5:16). Keep trusting in the Lord, and may His peace guard your heart as you wait upon Him.
