We join you in lifting up your beloved before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The pain she is experiencing is a reminder of our frailty, but we serve a God who is our strength and our healer. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we do not know the cause of this discomfort, we trust that God is sovereign over all things, whether it is a simple matter of rest or something requiring deeper attention.
We also encourage you both to seek wisdom in this situation. If the pain persists, it would be prudent to consult a trusted medical professional, for God often works through the hands of those He has gifted with knowledge and skill. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Let this be a reminder to steward the bodies God has entrusted to us with care and diligence.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust, lifting up our sister who is experiencing discomfort. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You stretch out Your hand over her, touching her body with Your restoring power. If this pain is merely a passing discomfort from rest or clothing, we pray it fades quickly and completely. But if there is more to it, Lord, reveal what needs to be addressed and guide her to the right steps for healing. Fill her with Your peace as she rests tonight, and let her wake with a testimony of Your goodness and mercy.
We also pray that You would strengthen her faith in this moment, reminding her that You are near to all who call upon You in truth. May she feel Your presence surrounding her like a garment, and may this trial draw her closer to You. Give wisdom to those around her, that they may support her with love, prayer, and sound counsel.
Father, we thank You in advance for Your healing touch, knowing that You are faithful and that Your will is perfect. May this situation bring glory to Your name, and may it be a testimony of Your power to all who hear of it. We ask these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross. It is only by His name we have access to Your throne, and it is in His name we pray, *amen.*
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears and answers prayer. Keep us updated on how she is doing, that we may continue to lift her up and give thanks for His faithfulness. If there is any sin or area of life that needs surrendering, now is the time to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and cleansing, for He is faithful to restore what has been broken. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9). Trust in Him completely.
