PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

Prosperity Under Persecution
God turns every attack against his people into growth and blessing for them.
Right Replies to Right Requests
God always gives good gifts when we sincerely ask Him, so trust His answers to your prayers.
Unstaggering Faith
Strong faith in God’s promises overcomes all human impossibilities and brings Him glory.
We join you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and we lift up your unspoken request to Him who already knows it fully, and we stand with you in asking for His mercy.

We hear your heart crying out to believe that your prayer has already been answered, and this desire for faith honors Him. Jesus taught us, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:24. We also cling to the promise that This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. We pray that your faith will be strengthened to trust not only that He hears but that He will answer according to His perfect will and timing, even when the answer is not yet seen.

We understand the pain of having your sincere prayer insulted and mocked by others, and even compared in a belittling way to Moses opening the Red Sea. It is hurtful when others seek to look good by tearing down another's faith. We encourage you not to repay evil for evil but to entrust those who have mocked you to the Lord. We are called to Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. Romans 12:14 and to not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21. We pray for those who have insulted your prayer, that God would convict them and turn their hearts toward love and humility rather than self-praise, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6.

We affirm your decision to bring this now as an unspoken request, for our Father knows what we need before we ask Him. Matthew 6:8. Even when words fail or when you choose to keep the details between you and Him alone, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind. Romans 8:26-27. There is no word on our tongue that He does not already know completely. Psalm 139:4. You do not need to defend your prayer to others, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your mercy and salvation. We thank You that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We lift up this dear one and this unspoken burden that You know intimately. Have mercy, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation. Strengthen faith to believe and to rest in Your goodness, guard the heart against bitterness toward those who have mocked, and grant peace that surpasses understanding. Philippians 4:7. Comfort this heart as You are near to those who have a broken heart, and save those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. Help our friend to forgive as You have forgiven us, to pray for those who have caused hurt, and to keep trusting You even when others do not understand. We ask that You would show Your power and Your love in this unspoken matter, and that the answer would bring glory to Jesus alone. We believe You hear us and we trust Your perfect timing and answer. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken request to Jesus daily with thanksgiving, trusting His heart for you, and to not let the mocking of others cause you to hide from fellowship but to keep seeking Him in quiet confidence, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23.

We were sorry to read that a prayer that meant so much to you was met with mocking. It hurts when something tender before the Lord is treated lightly or used by others to make themselves look good, and it makes sense you would want to protect this prayer and keep it quiet between you and Jesus.

We want you to know God does hear the unspoken prayers. You do not have to defend or explain it to others for it to be real to Him, and you do not have to carry the weight of those comments as you wait on Him.

One gentle step that may help is to honor that instinct for quietness you mentioned. Keep this prayer privately with the Lord for now, perhaps in a private note only He sees, and step back from the places where the mocking happened. If you long for someone to stand with you, choose one trusted, kind believer rather than a public forum.

We are standing with you in prayer now.

Jesus, thank You that You know the prayer on this heart even without words. Bring peace where there has been hurt, guard this person from discouragement, and help them rest in Your nearness and Your good will. Give wisdom and quiet confidence as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for mercy has come before the Lord and He knows the unspoken burden which you carry, though you have not set it forth in words. There is One who understands the sigh too deep for utterance, and to Him you may safely commit all that lies upon your heart.

You speak of mockers who have made a spectacle of your faith, counting it folly and insulting your prayer that they might exalt themselves. This is no strange thing. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. Faith must be cut at and must bear the blows. Men will scoff at faith itself and at the very idea of Divine interposition, saying as they did of old, Let Him deliver him, seeing He delighted in him. They will make merry over a believer's confidence, as though it were pretence. But what of that? We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us. Take therefore the shield of faith, for it can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

You say you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Let me gently direct you to a better ground. Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. Peter began to sink, and what did he do? He prayed, Lord, save me. Little faith knows where her strength lies. Our Lord acknowledges the faith which we suspect to be little better than unbelief, and He can spy out faith when, like a lone spark, it is all but smothered under a heap of rubbish. He forgives the unbelief, but He graciously accepts the faith despite its weakness. So bring your weakness to Him again and again. Cry, Lord, I believe, help Thou my unbelief. True prayer is pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him and pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster, yet ever in humility of spirit. Remember the Word unto Thy servant is a prayer He loves to hear, for it reminds our heavenly Father of His promises, not as though He forgets, but as a child pleads a father's pledged word. Go and plead it and the Lord do unto you according to your faith, yet leave the manner and the timing of His answer in His wise hands. His answer may not come in the way you expect, but it will come in the way that is best.

You have been moved to keep this matter unspoken before men, and that may be wise. The Lord needs no gallery of images nor many words to know your need. Prayer is the most essential thing, and intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and exceedingly prevalent. We will bear you before the throne, that you may be kept from evil and quickened in His way. Turn away your eyes from beholding vanity, and pray, Quicken me in Thy way. Such a prayer can only come from one in whom the quickening Spirit already dwells.

Above all, see to your faith. Faith means trust in Christ, and repentance is born at the same time with faith. They are twins. Those who have a faith which allows them to think lightly of past sin have not the faith of God's elect. Therefore search your heart in the light of Scripture. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and every good gift, including love and home and marriage, is to be sought and ordered according to His holy Word, wherein marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is to be kept within that covenant. Whatever your unspoken request may be, bring it in full submission to Christ as Lord, asking not only for the thing desired but for a heart made clean and conformed to His will. If there be anything in your life or desire that does not accord with His way, confess it and forsake it, trusting His mercy.

May the Lord grant you not merely what you ask, but what His infinite love knows you need. May He increase your faith, guard you from the scorn of men, and give you grace to wait patiently upon Him, believing that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We plead for you that you may be strengthened to trust Him whether He lifts the burden at once as He once dried up the Red Sea by faith, or whether He sustains you through it for His glory.

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and the Lord who knows what is unspoken knows the burden you carry. It is good that you bring this only to Jesus, for salvation and mercy come through Him alone, and He alone has power to show you what is true and to answer according to His perfect will.

Do not be troubled that others have mocked or made light of your prayer, even comparing it to great miracles to belittle you. Such words reveal more about the speaker who seeks to look good before men than about your need before God. Prayer is not for show, and God is not moved by loud boasting. He looks upon the humble heart that seeks Him in secret. When you are wounded by such insults, remember that prayer is a great weapon given for the daily battles and storms of life. If you make God favorable to you by prayer in the morning and at night, you will be able to stand firm, and even if enemies rise against you, you will not be overthrown.

You are right to believe that God hears, and you do well to hold fast to confidence in prayer. The Lord Himself taught that those who believe and are confident in prayer shall do great things, even to remove mountains, that they might not fear the plots against them. Yet this confidence is not a demand that God must do as we have already decided, but a trust that He hears always and will do what is best. Jesus prayed, Father I thank you that you have heard me, and I know that you hear me always, not because He needed to persuade the Father, but to teach us that His will and the Father's will are one. In the same way, bring your unspoken request with thanksgiving and with submission, saying with Christ, let your will be done.

Do not think you have no need of the prayers of others, and do not think the prayers of others can help you if you yourself are not watchful. We always need grace, and we always need to do our own part as well. Prayer without obedience is empty, and obedience without prayer cannot stand. Therefore as you pray in secret, also walk faithfully in what God has already shown in Scripture. If any part of what you desire concerns how you live, whom you love, or how you share your life with another, bring that desire under the light of God's design, that salvation is through Jesus alone, and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that intimate life belongs within that covenant. We cannot ask God to bless what He has not called good, but we can ask Him to make our hearts good and to align our desires with His will, and He will give grace to do so.

So continue to pray, not for self praise and not to prove others wrong, but to be heard by your Father who sees in secret. Ask for mercy, for wisdom, for purity of heart, and for strength to accept His answer, whatever it is, knowing it will be for your good. May the Lord keep you in His grace, guard your spirit from discouragement, and preserve you in faith until you see His answer in His time and in His way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
