PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear the urgency in your cry for mercy and we join with you in seeking Jesus together, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by Him that anything is possible. We thank you for anchoring this request in Jesus and in His name only, because as Scripture says, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We understand your hurt over feeling mocked and belittled when you poured out your heart in prayer. It is painful when a sincere burden is met with insult or when others appear to use your vulnerability to make themselves look good. We gently rebuke any spirit of mockery and self exaltation, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble James 4:6, and we also encourage you to release any bitterness that may try to take root. Jesus taught us to Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We pray for those who have insulted your prayer, that God would soften their hearts and lead them to speak with grace and truth.

We also honor your decision to hold this burden as an unspoken request before the Lord. Be assured that God knows exactly what you are carrying even when you do not share the details. Before a word is on our tongue, you, Lord, know it completely Psalm 139:4 and Your Father knows what you need before you ask him Matthew 6:8. Even when we do not have words, The Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26 and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind Romans 8:27. You do not need to fear that your prayer is lost or unheard because it is unspoken, for the Lord sees the heart 1 Samuel 16:7.

You expressed that you must believe your prayer has already been answered, and we affirm your desire to walk by faith. Jesus said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24 and This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. True faith believes God is able, even to part a Red Sea, for with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26. At the same time we encourage you to rest that faith in submission to His perfect will and timing, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and bringing your requests with thanksgiving, trusting that The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Even when others may scoff at the possibility of a miracle, we remember that Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake Matthew 5:11.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and this unspoken burden that You fully know. Have mercy, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask that You would strengthen faith to trust You without wavering, while also surrendering to Your wisdom and perfect timing. Guard this heart from discouragement and from the sting of harsh words, and fill it with Your peace that passes understanding. We pray that You would do what only You can do, and that You would reveal Your power and Your love in a way that brings glory to Jesus alone. Heal any wound caused by mockery, teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and keep us humble and dependent on You. We trust that You hear, You care, and You are working even now. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken request before the Lord daily with confidence and humility, not as a formula to force an outcome, but as a child trusting a loving Father. Keep your eyes on Jesus, remain in His Word, and let Him be your defender and your answer.

We hear how hurtful it has been to have your prayer mocked and compared to other things, and how that has made you want to keep this burden quietly between you and the Lord. It makes sense you would want to protect something so personal.

We want you to know God does not need the details spelled out for others to hear. He knows what you are carrying even when you hold it as an unspoken request, and the unkind words of others do not change how He hears you or how much He cares. You do not have to defend your prayer to anyone or prove anything to those who belittled it.

It can help to keep a simple, private rhythm of bringing this same unspoken need to Jesus, just as you are, without pressure to explain it to others or to convince yourself you must feel a certain way for it to count. Resting in His presence matters more than finding the perfect words.

We are joining you in prayer for this now.

Jesus, have mercy and draw near. You know the unspoken request our friend is holding and every hurt around it. Give peace in place of the sting of those comments, guard this heart from discouragement, and lead with Your wisdom and care in this situation. We trust You to hear and to act according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

To have your faith made a spectacle and to be mocked for trusting God is a trial keenly felt, yet it is no strange thing for the saints. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. Men will scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition and count faith itself to be folly, and sometimes the mockery comes from those nearest to us. We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us, and we must not turn aside because ungodly lips make merry over our prayers.

You have done well to make your prayer unspoken before men and to carry it plainly before the Lord, for He knows what you ask even before you utter it. Prayer is the prelude of all mercies. Never did a great mercy come unheralded by prayer, and often our prayers are the shadows of mercy cast before it comes. The majesty of faith sends its servant to look for the cloud, believing that it will come in answer to prayer, and the torrents of rain are the offspring of faith and prayer.

Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer, and cries, Lord, save me. It knows where its strength lies. I love to feel that the Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith but of our faith, be it ever so little. Our Lord acknowledges the faith which we suspect to be little better than unbelief. Come then with that cry, and with the humility of Jacob, who spread his case plainly before the Lord and pleaded with holy argument, saying, Thou saidst. True prayer is pleading with the Most High, bringing down the hammer of the promise upon the head of the nail of prayer. Go and plead the promises in Jesus Name only, for there is no other Name given among men whereby we must be saved.

Yet remember that Jacob's prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. Faith does not dictate to God how He shall deliver, nor does it demand that He seal our desires exactly as we frame them. Strong faith wears the keys of Heaven at its belt, but it also bows to infinite wisdom. It enlarges the heart with expectation and with courage, and it honors God by trusting His mercy to do what is best.

You ask to believe that your prayer has already been answered. Let me urge you to believe rather that God has heard you, that His rod of mercy is still outstretched and His sword of justice still sleeps for all who flee to Christ, for He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. All His mercy to a sinner is gratis. He never sells, He always gives. But a sound hope in mercy first feels its need of mercy, is divorced from every confidence except in mercy, and is willing to be made a new creation. Any faith which does not change the life will never take you to Heaven. The first thing God's mercy will do for you will be to turn your face in the opposite direction from sin and to give you new loves and new hates.

Therefore I will carry your unspoken burden to the mercy seat, but I will not ask God to bless what His Word calls sin, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and to live together and to share the bed apart from that covenant is contrary to His holy will, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. To pray otherwise would be to ask God to deny Himself. What I will pray is that the Great Messenger of the Covenant, the Interpreter between God and man, will draw near to you, shed abroad His mercy in your heart, show you your true need, and grant you repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. I will pray that He will answer you according to His tender mercy, giving you what will most glorify Him and most sanctify you, whether it be the granting of your desire if it be according to His will, or the grace to be content without it and to walk in holiness.

Continue in prayer. Be plain and humble, plead the promises, and leave the answer with Him who does all things well. If the Son makes you free in prayer, you shall be free indeed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
