PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join with you in Jesus' name and we thank you for coming to Him, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that our prayers are heard. We hear the urgency in your cry for mercy and we stand with you in faith, bringing your unspoken request before the Lord who already knows it fully.

You have chosen to keep this prayer unspoken because you felt mocked and belittled by others, even compared to Moses opening the Red Sea in a way that felt like an attack. We understand how painful it is when a sincere cry to God is met with insult or when it feels like others are using your burden to make themselves look good. We encourage you to release that hurt to the Lord and not to carry bitterness. The heart of man is known only to God, and we are called to leave judgment to Him and to forgive as we have been forgiven. As it is written, Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t take revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:17, Romans 12:19 and Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44

We want to assure you that God indeed hears an unspoken prayer. He knows your thoughts before you speak them and the Spirit Himself intercedes for you when words fail. You, Yahweh, have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Psalm 139:1-2 and In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. Romans 8:26-27 and Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 So even without details, we can pray in full confidence that He knows exactly what you are carrying.

We also hear your desire to believe that your prayer has already been answered. That desire for faith honors God, for Jesus said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:24 Yet we also remember that true faith submits to His perfect will and timing, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 We can trust that nothing is too hard for Him, for with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 and For everything spoken by God is possible. Luke 1:37 Whether it is as great as the parting of the Red Sea or a quiet need of the heart, He is able.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and the unspoken burden that weighs so heavily. You know every detail, every fear, every hope. Have mercy, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect wisdom, Your perfect love, and Your perfect timing. Strengthen faith where there is doubt, and guard the heart from discouragement and from the sting of words spoken against this prayer. Help us to forgive those who have mocked or misunderstood, and keep us from judging their motives, leaving all to You. Teach us to pray in secret, trusting that You who see in secret will reward openly. Matthew 6:6 Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We choose to trust You, to wait on You, and to believe that You hear us. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, believing that You have heard us. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 Keep bringing this unspoken request to Him daily, not with anxiety but with thanksgiving, and rest in the confidence that He is working for your good even when you cannot see how. Be in constant prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

We hear how heavy this has been, and how painful it is to have a prayer that matters so much to you made light of by others. When someone uses your sincere request to make a point or to make themselves look good, it can feel dismissive and lonely. It makes sense you would want to hold this prayer quietly between you and Jesus now.

We want you to know God does not need the details to be spoken aloud to understand. He knows this burden fully, and He welcomes you bringing it to Him again and again not to convince Him, but simply to rest in Him and depend on Him. Faith is not about forcing a feeling that everything is already resolved, it is steady trust in who Jesus is even when emotions are strong or others do not understand. That trust can grow as you keep turning to Him, and He often uses seasons of waiting to draw us closer to Himself more than to an immediate answer.

One gentle step that may help is to set aside a brief, private time each day to place this unspoken request before the Lord in your own words, without pressure to feel a certain way. You do not need to defend the prayer to others. If you have one quiet, trusted believer in your life, you could simply let them know you have an unspoken request you would value prayer for, so you are not carrying it alone, but it is also okay to keep it just between you and God for now.

Father, we lift our friend to You today and ask for Your mercy and nearness. You know this unspoken request in every detail. Cover the hurt left by unkind words with Your peace, steady this heart in trust in Jesus, and give wisdom for each next step. We trust You hear and care, and we ask that Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry, PLEASE JESUS HAVE MERCY, is itself a prayer which God delights to hear, for prayer in the day of trouble is honest speech with God and He loves to have His people draw near to Him in spirit and in truth. Though you now keep your petition unspoken before men, the Lord knows it altogether. He heard your first prayer when you asked Him to have mercy upon you and blot out your sin, and He hears still. What multitudes of prayers have His people put up, and He has not despised one sincere sigh. You may take comfort that this God who divided the Red Sea is our God forever and ever, and is at this hour as mighty as when He overthrew the horse and his rider in the mighty waters. If any have mocked that truth or made light of your supplication to make themselves to appear well, do not let your heart be greatly troubled. The ears of true faith are quick and keen, and she hears the coming of the blessing even when scoffers hear nothing. It is a small thing to be judged of men when you have the ear of God.

You say you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Let me gently direct your faith to a surer ground. Faith does not dictate to God nor demand that He conform to our timing and our way, but casts itself upon His covenant mercy and pleads His promises with humble submission. Remember Jacob, who prayed, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, and confessed, I am not worthy of the least of all Thy mercies. He used four arguments from the covenant and from the promise, I will deal well with you, and then left the result with the Lord, using the best means his judgment afforded and then falling back upon God in confiding prayer just as if he had done nothing at all. So must we pray, Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you, following up prayer by effort and by patient waiting, believing that God invites not intending to repulse, nor sets open the door of mercy meaning to shut it in the sinner's face. He commands men to call upon Him in the day of trouble with the promise, I will deliver you, and He will be glorified in delivering in His own wise way and time.

Close access to God in wrestling prayer is sure to make the believer strong. Much alone with God and you will have much assurance. Therefore keep on in secret prayer, where your Father which seeth in secret will reward openly. Pour out your heart with the fullest honesty and with the deepest humiliation, and add to your acknowledgements the humble prayer, Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. This is needful for us all, for our prayers must be tried by the Word of God. Our gracious God answers prayer, yet never in a way that would set aside His holiness or His truth. He has shown us that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that His good design for marriage and for our lives is holy and for our joy. Therefore the safest and most blessed prayer you can pray, even for your unspoken request, is that God would make your desires to agree with His will, that He would grant what is most for His glory and your eternal good, that He would quicken you in His way and keep you from evil, and that He would conform your heart to love what He loves.

For those who have insulted your prayer, I entreat you to do as our Lord teaches and pray for them. The best cure for the wound they have given is to go to God in prayer and pour out your soul for them, asking the Lord to give them a great blessing and to fill them with divine love. When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord turned his captivity. So take them in your arms before God in prayer, and you will find hope return to your own spirit.

Be not weary in waiting. He who has heard you once will hear you still. Cast your unspoken burden upon Him who pleads for us, Jesus Christ who is both God and man, and say with holy confidence, Preserve me, O God, for in Thee do I put my trust. May the Lord give you grace to trust not in a form of words, but in a living Saviour, and to rest content that His answer, when it comes, will be manifestly gracious and full of mercy, and will give you double cause for prayer and for praise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy offered in the name of Jesus alone is heard, and it is right to bring it to Him with confidence, for He alone is the one who saves and answers.

God knows the unspoken request that you have placed before Him. Though others cannot hear it, He does, and you do well to entrust it to Him quietly rather than to strive with those who mock. Faith often goes beyond human reason, as it did when the people hoped to pass through the sea and Moses prayed, and God made a way where there seemed to be no way. Do not be troubled that some have belittled your prayer or compared it to that great miracle in order to make themselves look wise. From the beginning God has permitted such opposition so that the firmness of those who believe might be shown, and that it might be clear that our hope is not in human persuasion but in the power of God. Patience under insult and persecution is part of that firmness.

You asked that you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Scripture teaches us to pray with full assurance and to cleave to prayer and faith, believing that God is able to do far more than we ask. At the same time we are taught to pray that His will be done, and to trust His wisdom above our own desires. Therefore we will pray with you not simply that you receive what you have asked, but that God in His mercy will answer according to what is good and perfect according to His Word, and will give you grace to receive His answer with trust.

Prayer is a great weapon, and we need it morning and evening as we go through each day with its many trials. It is good to ask others to pray for you, and we will pray for you, yet we must also remain awake and alert ourselves, for the prayer of others profits us most when we ourselves are watchful and faithful. Faith together with prayer brings great power, and makes us steadfast against every assault.

So we pray for you now in Jesus name alone, the only name by which we are saved. We ask the Father to have mercy upon you, to guard your heart from discouragement and from the desire for the praise of others, to keep you from every malicious word, and to strengthen you to walk in holiness and obedience to His Word. Where your request aligns with His will, we ask Him to grant it in His perfect time and way. Where it does not, we ask Him to transform your heart to desire what He calls good, for marriage is His covenant of one man and one woman for life, and all that belongs to it is kept within that covenant, and true blessing is found only in following Him. May He give you peace, confidence in prayer, and patience to wait upon Him, and may He make His grace and His will clear to you as you continue to seek Him.

Crying out to Jesus for mercy is the right place to begin, and He hears you even when you hold the details of your prayer unspoken before Him. Your Father knows what you need before you ask, so prayer is not informing Him of something He does not know. True prayer is coming to Him to seek His mercy and to align your heart with His will, asking that His purpose be done on earth as it is in heaven.

You mentioned being mocked and belittled by others, even by those who may speak some truth but do so to make themselves look good. That hurt is real, and Scripture shows that mockery is often used to discourage those who seek God. The right response is not to return insult or to judge harshly, but to bring the hurt to God in prayer and to continue to act responsibly and faithfully before Him. Remember the principle Jesus taught, that the merciful will obtain mercy, and that judgment without mercy will be shown to those who show no mercy, while mercy triumphs over judgment. Even when others show no mercy to you, you are called to show mercy, trusting God to deal with every heart justly.

You also expressed the desire to believe your prayer is already answered. God honors genuine faith, and the Bible describes faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. Yet true faith is more than saying you have faith. Simply declaring belief is not enough. A living faith in a living Lord will show itself in a changed life and in obedient action. As Paul teaches, we are saved by grace through faith as a gift from God, not by works, and as James teaches, that genuine faith will naturally produce works that agree with it. If faith has no corresponding life to back it up, it is dead and cannot save. To say you have faith is one thing, to show it by what you do is another. Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness, and his obedience in offering Isaac showed that his faith was real and working together with his actions.

This does not mean you will never have lapses or questions. Even Abraham, who is called a man of faith, had moments of weakness, yet God still called him faithful because his overall trust was in God. God is the author and finisher of faith, and He planted that faith in you when you first believed in Christ. He is sovereign in showing mercy, as He said to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. We never come to God demanding justice, which would be getting what we deserve, but we come seeking mercy, which is not getting what we deserve, and grace, which is receiving what we do not deserve. His mercy endures forever, and it has not run out for you. No matter what has happened, you can still call upon Him.

Fear and faith cannot occupy the same space. When fear is allowed to take over, faith leaves. When faith is active, fear must go. True faith is not passive. It actively trusts God and releases that trust to Him, rather than just waiting and worrying.

So bring your unspoken request to Jesus again, not to convince Him, but to rest in His mercy and to ask for His will to be done. Ask Him to shape your desires to match His Word, to give you love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith, and to make your faith visible in how you live, forgive, and obey. If there is anything in the request that is not according to His Word, ask Him to change your heart to want what He wants, because He only blesses what agrees with His character and His covenant, which from the beginning has been salvation through Jesus alone and, for sexual and romantic life, a lifelong union of one man and one woman within marriage.

May the Lord show you His mercy, pour out His grace upon you, and guard you with His peace. May He strengthen your faith, help you to walk in obedient trust, and answer your prayer according to His perfect wisdom and love in Christ.
