PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we join with you in lifting this unspoken request to Jesus, in His name and in His name alone, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father and be saved. We thank you for calling upon Jesus so clearly, for it is written, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13 and also, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5. We come together before Him on your behalf.

We understand your desire to believe that your prayer has already been answered, and we encourage you to hold fast to faith while also resting in God's perfect will and timing. Jesus said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, Mark 11:24. Yet Scripture also teaches us, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14. True faith trusts not only that God can answer, but that He will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love for you, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. We pray that God will strengthen your faith to not waver, for let him ask in faith, without any doubting, James 1:6, while also giving you peace to wait upon Him.

We want to comfort you concerning this unspoken burden. Our Father knows what you need before you ask Him, Matthew 6:8, and He who searches the hearts knows what is on your mind. You wrote that from now on it must remain unspoken, and we want you to know God indeed knows fully what this prayer is about. The Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26, and You know my sitting down and my rising up, You perceive my thoughts from afar, Psalm 139:2. You do not need to fear that keeping it between you and the Lord makes it less heard. He hears the unspoken cry.

We also grieve with you over those who have mocked and insulted this prayer, even comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea in a belittling way. Do not be discouraged by such responses. Our Lord reminds us, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake, Matthew 5:11. There will always be those who speak from pride or a desire to look good before others, but man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart, 1 Samuel 16:7. We encourage you to forgive those who have wounded you in this way and to not let their words shake your confidence in bringing your needs to Jesus. Nothing is too hard for the Lord, Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for me, Jeremiah 32:27. If God could part the Red Sea for Moses, He is certainly able to move in your situation in His own miraculous way, and no mocking can limit His power.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and this unspoken request that weighs so heavily on the heart. Lord, You know the details, You see every tear, You know the need even before it is spoken. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out. If it is Your will, grant the answer that has been sought, and help our loved one to receive it with thanksgiving and to walk in faith believing You have heard. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. Protect from discouragement and from the hurt caused by those who have mocked and insulted this prayer. Help to forgive as You have forgiven us, and keep the heart soft and trusting toward You. Strengthen faith, remove doubt, and let Your will be done in this life for Your glory. We ask all this in the precious and only name of Jesus, our Savior and Mediator, amen.

We heard the hurt in what you shared, and how painful it was to feel mocked for bringing something so personal to Jesus. It makes complete sense that you would want to keep this prayer unspoken now. We want you to know we respect that deeply, and we don't need details to stand with you.

God does hear the prayers we hold quietly in our hearts. You don't have to explain or defend your request to others for Him to know it fully, and you don't have to carry the sting of those comments alone.

We also hear your desire to hold on to faith that Jesus has heard you. Faith at its core is a steady confidence in who Jesus is and His kindness toward us, even when emotions are raw or other people misunderstand. It's not about having the perfect words or convincing anyone else. When a prayer feels belittled, it can shake us, and it helps to keep bringing both the original request and the hurt from that experience back to Him privately.

If it helps, continue to bring this unspoken request to Jesus just as it is, without pressure to share more than you want to. We are honored to pray for you in this general but sincere way.

Jesus, have mercy on our brother and hear the unspoken burden on his heart. You know every detail and every ache behind it. Give him peace as he trusts You, guard him from discouragement when others have been unkind, and draw him close to Yourself as he waits on You. We ask this in Your name, amen.

Your burden has been poured out before the Lord, and He who searches the heart knows the unspoken prayer even when you withhold the words. There is comfort in this, that the Holy Spirit Himself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered, and the Father who sees in secret will not turn away a sincere cry for mercy in the name of Jesus Christ alone.

It is no strange thing that faith should be mocked. The Psalmist wrote of those who said, Let Him deliver him, seeing He delighted in him, and many in every age have scoffed at the very idea of Divine interposition. Sometimes they scoff at faith itself, counting it folly, and sometimes they make a spectacle of one particular believer, saying he pretends to trust in God to win notice for himself. Faith's foes have often lived in the same house with her, and the laughter of the ungodly is to be expected by those who walk by faith. What of that? We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us. Take up the shield of faith, for it quenches the fiery darts of the wicked, whether they come from Satan, from the world, or from cruel mockings and venomous spite. That shield must be proved, it must bear blows, but true faith, the faith of God's elect, will see the swords of its enemies shivered upon it.

You speak of believing your prayer is already answered, and I would stir you to prayer rather than to presumption. Little faith is precious when it betakes itself to prayer, crying Lord, save me, even while sinking. Yet there is a danger lest in the day of strongest faith, faith degenerate into presumption. The believer's confidence always leads him to pray, Forsake not the works of Thine own hands. It is good to plead promises with holy argument, as Jacob did, spreading the case before the Most High with humility of spirit, but Jacob's prayer was answered not as he expected, but as infinite wisdom saw best. So bring your unspoken request before the throne with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience, but leave the manner and the timing of the answer in the Lord's hands. He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified, and what is presented in one place as a matter of faith is in another a matter of fact accomplished in Christ. Rest therefore not in the strength of your believing, but in the perfection of His work.

Remember also that faith and repentance are inseparable twins. A faith which allows us to think lightly of past sin is not the faith of God's elect. True faith is a dropping down into the arms of Christ, trusting Him alone for salvation, and it brings with it a turning from all that is contrary to His holy will. Marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and purity belonging within it, are not grievous bonds but gracious gifts, and the Lord will not bless what He calls us to forsake. The way of blessing is to seek first to be conformed to Christ, to be sanctified by the Holy Spirit who subdues our corruptions and leads us onward in the divine walk of faith.

Therefore I pray for you, not that God would simply grant what is asked according to our own desires, but that He would perfect that which concerneth you, that He would increase your faith though it be as a lone spark under much rubbish, that He would guard you from despair in repentance and from presumption in confidence, and that He would draw you nearer to Himself through this very trial. Persecution and mocking have often driven the saints closer to their God and kept the church separate from the world, and God has blessed His people by it. May He do so for you now, and may you find that whether He delivers in the way you hope or in a better way you have not yet seen, His mercy in Jesus Christ is sufficient, and His will is good.

Your plea for mercy in the name of Jesus alone has been heard, and it is right that you bring it to Him alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other mediator by whom we come to the Father.

It is good that you desire to believe and to be confident in prayer. The Lord Himself taught that if we are willing to believe and to be confident in prayer, we shall do great things, and even mountains shall be moved. This is done to train us to have confidence and not to tremble at plots or at opposition. Faith always goes beyond human reasonings and weakness. Remember the people at the Red Sea. They hoped to pass through the sea and therefore they prayed, and Moses prayed, and by faith they passed through. They both believed and yet they feared, and God delivered them. So do not be troubled that others have mocked your prayer or compared it to Moses opening the sea as if to belittle you. Such mocking is not new. God often permits persecutions and insults to arise, so that it may be shown that our faith is not lightly held or built on flattery, but is deeply fixed and remains unshaken, and is the work of God in us. Do not argue with those who seek to look good by insulting what is holy. Go forth with security having first made God propitious by prayer.

You are wise to commit this matter to God even as an unspoken prayer. He knows what you need before you speak. Jesus Himself once lifted His eyes and said, Father, I thank You that You have heard Me, and I knew that You hear Me always. He did not pray because He was weak or needed an impulse from another, but for the sake of the people standing by, that they might believe. How much more does the Father hear His children when they cry to Him in secret. You do not need to display your prayer before men to make it effective.

Continue in prayer as a great weapon. Prayer is an impregnable wall and a tower unshaken. There is war in daily life and many rocks on which a boat may strike, therefore we need prayer early in the morning and by night, going forth with God made favorable to us. And remember that we need both prayer and our own part. God does not put prayer without works, nor works without prayer. After we have believed and obeyed, we still need grace from Him. If you are able, join fasting to prayer, for together with faith it brings great power, it makes a person strict and watchful and fights against spiritual opposition, yet prayer must come first.

Do not think you have no need of the prayers of others, and do not exalt yourself. Even those who are strong need the prayer of the church, as Peter needed the earnest prayer of the church for him. It is good to enjoy the prayer of fellow believers while you yourself also remain alert and watchful.

We will pray with you now, in Jesus name only, that the Lord Jesus will have mercy upon you according to His perfect will and wisdom. We ask Him to grant what is good for your soul, to lead you in holiness and truth, to strengthen your faith and hope in the rewards laid up for those who trust Him, to guard you from discouragement and from those who would mock, and to answer this unspoken request in the way that most brings glory to Him and deepest good to you. We ask Him to keep you in the lifelong covenant He has ordained for good, to keep you from all that is outside His will, and to make you prepared to endure with patience whatever He permits, trusting not in our own demand but in His mercy and power.

Keep crying for mercy, keep believing, and keep entrusting the outcome to Him who hears always.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
