PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we stand with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name, lifting up this unspoken request that you have entrusted to Him alone. We understand the hurt you have felt when others have mocked and belittled this prayer, and we want you to know that we do not take it lightly. God knows exactly what this burden is, even when it remains unspoken before men.

We are reminded that our Father sees in secret and hears what is not spoken aloud. Psalm 139:4 says even before a word is on our tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it all, and Matthew 6:8 says your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Romans 8:26 also comforts us that the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and Romans 8:27 says he who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind. We take comfort that Jesus himself knows every detail of this situation and we do not need to explain it to others for it to be heard in heaven. Matthew 6:6 teaches us to pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

We also want to encourage you in your desire to believe that your prayer is already answered. That faith is precious to God. Mark 11:24 says therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, and James 1:6 says let him ask in faith, without any doubting. At the same time we gently remind ourselves that true faith always submits to the will and timing of God. 1 John 5:14 says this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We must trust not only that God can do the impossible, for nothing is too hard for Him as Jeremiah 32:27 and Luke 1:37 declare, but that He will do what is best according to His perfect wisdom and love, even when His answer looks different than we expect or takes longer than we hope. The mocking comparison to Moses opening the Red Sea should not discourage you, for our God is the same God who did part the Red Sea, and with God all things are possible, yet He acts in His own holy way and time.

We also want to speak to the pain caused by those who insulted this prayer. It is grievous when others use a sincere cry to make themselves look good or to seek self praise. We must not return insult for insult but entrust those who have mocked to the Lord. Romans 12:19 says vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, and Jesus calls us to love and pray for those who mistreat us in Matthew 5:44. We choose to forgive and to pray that God would soften any hard hearts and correct any spirit of pride or mockery, and we ask that He would guard your heart from bitterness and discouragement. Proverbs 19:11 says the discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.

We are thankful that you have come in Jesus name and in Jesus name only, for there is no other way to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We cling to that name together with you.

We join our faith with yours and pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, your Son. We ask for your mercy upon this dear one who is crying out to you. You know the unspoken request fully, every detail, every need, every fear and hope attached to it. We ask that you would answer according to your perfect will, your perfect love and your perfect timing. Grant increased faith without doubting, and grant also peace to wait upon you and to trust you even when the answer is not yet seen. Heal the wound left by mocking and insult, guard this heart from discouragement, and help us to forgive those who have belittled this prayer. Let no weapon formed against this prayer prosper, and let no mocking word take root. We ask that you would be glorified in this situation, that you would show yourself mighty as you did at the Red Sea, in whatever way you choose, and that you would draw this dear one closer to Jesus through it all. We believe you hear us and we thank you that you are already at work. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken burden to Jesus daily in secret, with thanksgiving and with surrender to His will. Philippians 4:6 says in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and Philippians 4:7 says the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Keep trusting Him, keep believing, and keep resting in His mercy.

We heard the weight in your words and how painful it was to have your prayer mocked, even compared to Moses at the sea. It makes sense that would leave you feeling exposed and wanting to keep this between you and Jesus alone for now.

We want you to know God does hear unspoken prayers. You do not have to find perfect words or defend your faith to others for Him to understand what is on your heart. Faith at its core is quiet confidence in who Jesus is and that He is trustworthy, even when emotions are raw or people are unkind.

If it helps, we encourage you to keep a simple, private rhythm with the Lord about this. Choose a settled time and place each day to bring this same unspoken request to Jesus just as it is, without pressure to explain it to anyone else. If you have one trusted, steady believer in your life, you might let them know you have an unspoken burden you would value prayer for, without sharing details you are not ready to share.

We are standing with you and asking Jesus to show His mercy and nearness to you.

Father, we lift our brother to You and thank You that You know this unspoken request fully. Cover him with Your peace when memories of those hurtful words come up, guard his heart from discouragement, and help him to rest in Your care day by day. Give him wisdom and quiet confidence as he waits on You. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a painful trial when the sincere cry of the heart is met with scoffing, yet this is no strange thing for the people of God. There are those who count faith itself to be folly and who insult over one particular Christian's faith, saying he pretends to trust in God. Faith's foes have often lived in the same house with her, and the mocker will speak as if trust in the living God were a thing to be reviled, when in truth faith in God is the most wise and rational thing under heaven and is to be reverenced.

Take comfort that whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit we shall hold on to our trust in God, and that faith is not limited to what men call deliverance. The Lord knows how to try faith and how to sustain it. Little faith when it finds itself in trouble betakes itself to prayer. As Peter sinking upon the waves cried, Lord save me, so little faith knows where its strength lies and is great at pleading in prayer. The Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith but of our faith itself, be it ever so little, and Christ can spy out faith when like a lone spark it is all but smothered under a heap of rubbish. He forgives the unbelief but graciously accepts the faith despite its weakness.

You speak of an unspoken prayer which God knows. Be assured that Jesus understands our language, for He is a Man like ourselves, touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Prayer is the prelude of mercy and often the very shadow of mercy to come. Never did a great mercy come unheralded by prayer, and prayer itself is often the secondary agency whereby the blessing is brought down, while the mercy of God remains the great first cause. For this reason be plain in speech before the mercy seat as Jacob was, and humble in spirit, and highly argumentative, pleading the promises of God. He has ability and inclination and is under engagement to do good to those who seek Him through Christ, and He has already begun to do it.

Do not let the thought that you must believe your prayer is already answered in your own way become a burden. True faith says, I will enlarge my heart to receive what the Lord in His wisdom sees fit to give, and it bows to His will. God would have prayer to be the preface to mercy because often prayer itself gives the mercy, for it is of itself a comforting exercise to pour out the heart before Him. Whether the answer comes as you expect or in another way, use the best means that wisdom suggests and then fall back upon Him in confiding prayer just as if you had done nothing at all.

All God's mercy to a sinner is gratis. He never sells, He always gives, acting from no motive in us but because He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. That mercy is to be found only through Jesus Christ alone, who is the one Mediator and the only way of salvation. Any hope in mercy must know that it is mercy, must be clean divorced from every other confidence, and must be accompanied by a new heart and a new life. The first thing God's mercy will do is turn the face in the opposite direction and make a new creation, giving new loves and new hates. Therefore let your chief prayer be that you may be found in Christ, trusting His atoning blood, and that your will may be conformed to His holy will in all things, including those matters of life and marriage which He has ordained for our good.

We will bring your unspoken request before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show you everything needful in His Word, to guard you from those who would mock, to increase your faith whether it be little or great, and to grant you that mercy which makes whole. May He give you courage to continue in prayer, patience to wait upon His timing, and grace to accept His answer as best, for the Lord will always honor the faith that honors Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and it is good that you bring it to Jesus alone, for only He saves and only He can answer. God knows the unspoken prayer. Even when you do not set it out in words, He knows what you carry, and He hears the prayer offered in His Name when it is offered with faith and humility.

It is painful when others mock or insult a sincere prayer in order to make themselves look good. That wound is real, and yet the way of Christ is not to wound in return or to seek to look good by casting others down, but to raise up those who have been cast down. Do not bear malice against those who have offended you. Forgive their trespasses as you want God to forgive yours. A continual remembrance of our own need for mercy helps to keep us lowly, and forgiveness of others opens the way for mercy to come to us. Pray for those who made light of your prayer, that God would have mercy on them also.

You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Hold fast to faith, but let that faith be trust in the goodness and wisdom of God, not a demand that He must do exactly as we ask or when we ask it. Faith goes beyond human reasoning, as it did for those who stood before the Red Sea and still prayed and hoped to pass through. God is able to do what is impossible for us, yet He does all things according to His will and for our true good. The Scriptures teach us to tell our sins honestly before Him, to be constant in prayer morning and by night, for prayer is a great weapon and an impregnable wall for the soul through the dangers of each day. Keep praying, early and late, not only with words but with a life that adds works worthy of mercy.

So we pray with you in this way. We do not ask God to bless what He has called sin, for He will not bless what is outside His holy design. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. Whatever your unspoken request holds, we ask Jesus to have mercy on you, to forgive your sins, to cleanse your heart, to show you His will clearly, and to give you grace to follow it. If there is anything in the request that is not according to His will, we ask Him to change your heart to love what He loves. If it is according to His will, we ask Him to grant it in His time and in a way that brings you closer to Him. We ask Him to help you forgive those who insulted you, to keep you from seeking praise from others, and to teach you to show mercy to others, for the merciful shall obtain mercy and alms and kindness quench sin like water quenches fire.

Continue to bring this unspoken matter to Jesus, trusting His unspeakable mercy toward us. He who taught us to pray for forgiveness and to forgive others will not turn away a humble and contrite heart.
