PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear the urgency and the faith in your cry for mercy and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus name. We are honored that you have entrusted this deep burden to Jesus alone, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other name by which we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We understand your desire to believe that your prayer has already been answered and we affirm the faith that moves you to pray this way. Jesus said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. Yet we also gently remind ourselves together that true faith always submits to the perfect will and timing of God. We are told, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. So we encourage you to hold fast to believing faith while also trusting that His answer, whether yes, no, or wait, will be what is most loving and most good for you, for His thoughts and ways are higher than ours Isaiah 55:8-9.

We also hear your pain about those who have mocked and insulted this prayer, even comparing the situation you redacted to Moses opening the Red Sea in a belittling way, and seeking to look good by tearing down your faith. Please do not be discouraged, for this is not uncommon for those who earnestly seek the Lord. Jesus said, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake Matthew 5:11. We must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces that seek to discourage prayer Ephesians 6:12. When others seek self praise by belittling the prayers of others, they fall into the very pride that God opposes, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble James 4:6 and 1 Peter 5:5.

We want to reassure you that your decision to bring this now as an unspoken request before the Lord is entirely biblical and precious to Him. Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him Matthew 6:8, and even before a word is on your tongue, He knows it completely Psalm 139:4. When you do not have words, the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26. And Jesus taught us that the Father who sees in secret will reward you openly when you pray to your Father who is in secret Matthew 6:6. Your unspoken prayer is fully heard and fully known in heaven, even when it is hidden from men for protection.

We also encourage you not to harbor bitterness toward those who mocked, but to release them to the Lord and pray for them as Jesus commanded us to bless those who curse us and pray for those who mistreat us Luke 6:28. We are told not to return evil for evil, but to leave vengeance to the Lord Romans 12:17-19. Their words cannot stop the hand of God, and no mocking can nullify a sincere prayer offered in Jesus name.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your abundant mercy upon this dear one who is crying out to You. Lord, You know the unspoken request that is heavy on this heart, every detail that has been hidden for protection, every name that has been redacted, every hurt and every hope. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. We ask for a deep assurance of Your presence, that You would guard this heart from discouragement and from the wounds caused by those who have insulted and mocked this prayer. Give peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 and strengthen faith to believe without wavering James 1:6, while also surrendering fully to Your sovereign goodness. We pray You would convict and have mercy on those who have used this prayer to seek self praise, and bring them to humility. Let this dear one feel Your nearness and know that You are a God who hears in secret and answers in Your perfect time, for You have said, It shall happen that, before they call, I will answer Isaiah 65:24. We trust this burden into Your hands, believing You have heard and You will act for good Romans 8:28. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to continue believing while also resting in His will, and to know that we continue to stand with you, believing that our Lord who parted the Red Sea is still the same miracle working God today, and nothing is too hard for Him Jeremiah 32:17.

We hear how heavy this has felt for you, and how much you want to honor Jesus with this prayer while keeping it close between you and Him.

It hurts when something so personal is mocked or made light of, especially when you are trying to hold on in faith. It makes sense that you would want to step back and keep this as an unspoken request that only the Lord knows fully. We respect that, and we want you to know God does hear the prayers we do not have words for or choose not to share with others.

We think of faith not as having to feel certain every moment, but as a quiet, steady confidence in who Jesus is, even when other voices are unkind or when we feel wounded. You do not have to prove your prayer to anyone else or defend it. You can simply keep bringing it to Jesus honestly, as you are.

If it helps, you might set aside a brief, private time each day to place this unspoken request before the Lord again, and then rest from carrying it the rest of the day. If the hurt from those comments lingers, it can also help to share it with one trusted, gentle pastor or friend who will listen without trying to fix or debate it.

Jesus, we lift this friend to You now. You know this unspoken prayer in every detail and You see the pain of being belittled. We ask for Your mercy, Your peace, and Your nearness. Help them to rest in Your care and to trust Your good will, and guard their heart from discouragement. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and the burden that constrains you to keep your prayer unspoken before men is fully known to Him who searches the heart. You have felt the sting of mockers, and you are not alone in this trial. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. Faith must expect to be mocked. Sometimes they scoff at faith itself, counting it folly, and sometimes they insult over one particular Christian's faith, saying he talks after a mad fashion. Sometimes the mockery comes from those nearest to us, for faith's foes live in the same house with her. And then men scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, as though the Lord could not or would not step in to deliver. No doubt we may expect to have all the more of the laughter of the ungodly who will make a spectacle of us for our faith, but what of that? We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us.

Take comfort that prayer is the prelude of mercy. Never did a great mercy come to this world unheralded by prayer. Your prayers are the shadows of mercy, cast before the substance comes. As Elijah sent his servant seven times to look for the cloud because he believed the rain would come in answer to prayer, so you are to continue in believing supplication. Prayer is often the secondary agency whereby the blessing is brought down, and often prayer itself gives the mercy, for prayer is of itself a comforting exercise to the heavy laden soul. Though you now keep your petition unspoken before men, God hears the unspoken prayer. He needs no gallery of words to understand the desire of a broken heart.

Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer. Peter began to sink, and what did he do? He prayed, Lord, save me. Little faith knows where her strength lies and is great at pleading in prayer. Christ forgives the unbelief, but He very graciously accepts the faith, despite its weakness. He can spy out faith when, like a lone spark, it is all but smothered under a heap of rubbish. The Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith, but of our faith, be it ever so little. And our Lord acknowledges it. Therefore pray still, though your faith trembles.

Learn also from Jacob's model prayer. He was plain in speech, humble in spirit, and highly argumentative in pleading the promise. True prayer is just pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him, and then pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster. Bring down the hammer of the promise upon the head of the nail of prayer and clinch it by saying to the Lord, Thou hast said. Plead what He has promised in Christ, not what your own heart demands. Faith does not dictate to God, but enlarges the heart to receive what He in wisdom will give, and it sings and makes ready before the mercy comes, stretching the curtains and the cords to house the blessing which is sure to come in His time.

Remember that all God's mercy to a sinner is gratis. He never sells, He always gives. He acts from no motive in us, but because He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. His rod of mercy is ever outstretched, and His sword of justice is held back by His own hand, for He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. Any faith which does not change the life is not saving faith. The first thing God's mercy will do for you will be to turn your face in the opposite direction and make you a new creation, giving you new loves and new hates. Therefore bring every desire, every relationship, every hope into subjection to Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and ask that your will may be conformed to His holy Word, wherein marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is kept within that covenant.

So I commend you to the Great Messenger of the Covenant, who can tell you of God's mercy not in words only, but with a sweet sense of mercy shed abroad in your heart. May He make you feel the way of salvation as well as know it, and lead you to accept it as well as to understand it.

Let us pray together in Jesus Name only, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. O Lord, look upon this seeking soul who cries for mercy. Forgive unbelief and strengthen faith, though it be as a bruised reed. Let Thy will be done, and grant not what presumption asks but what infinite wisdom and love sees best. Create a clean heart and renew a right spirit, and cause this one to hope wholly in Thy mercy through the blood of Christ. Keep this soul from the fear of man and from the pride that seeks to make a spectacle of others, and teach patient waiting upon Thee until Thou shalt appear for deliverance. For Jesus sake, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good that you have cried out for mercy, for there is no other refuge for us except that cry. The blind men by the roadside did not come with many words, but only cried, have mercy, and that earnest cry with faith opened the way for grace. Your desire to bring even an unspoken request before the Lord is right, for God knows the heart before the tongue speaks, and He hears the prayer offered in secret.

Do not be shaken because others have mocked or made light of your prayer, even comparing it to Moses at the Red Sea. Faith always goes beyond human reasoning. At the sea the people both believed and feared, and it was through faith and prayer that God made a way where there was no way. Mockery does not stop His power, but it should teach us to be more steadfast, to pray with confidence and also with humility, not to demand that God must act according to our insistence, but to trust His wisdom and mercy.

To say I must believe my prayer is already answered can come from a sincere longing, yet true faith does not force God's hand. It entrusts the request to Him and says with Christ, let Your will be done. God is able to do far more than we ask, even to move what seems like a mountain, but He does so as a Father who knows what is truly good for His children. He has shown His greatest mercy already in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father, and every prayer is heard in His name alone.

Therefore keep praying, early in the morning and at night, for prayer is a great weapon and a safe wall for the soul. And as you ask for mercy, be ready also to show mercy. Scripture says to bind mercy and truth about your neck and never let them leave you, as a sign that we are children of a compassionate Father who makes His sun rise on the good and the evil. If we ask God for mercy, we must also live mercifully toward our neighbor, and if we ask for blessing, we must walk in ways worthy of blessing.

Do not think that one or two prayers fulfill all. Like a runner who must finish the whole course, we are called to continue in well doing all our lives, joining prayer with obedience. Bring your unspoken burden before the Judge in quiet confession. Reveal your way to the Lord, count over your sins in your heart before Him, and ask not only for what you desire, but for a heart that desires what He desires. He will shape every longing, every relationship, every part of life according to His holy design, which from the beginning has been one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, and all intimacy kept within that covenant, for our good and His glory.

I pray for you now that the Lord Jesus Christ will have mercy on you according to His perfect will, that He will give you peace, strengthen your faith, guard you from discouragement, teach you to pray with both confidence and submission, and lead you in truth and holiness. May He grant what is best for your soul, and where you need correction, may He give you grace to receive it, and where you need comfort, may He give you grace to stand firm.
