Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father. Your plea for mercy and faith that your prayer has already been answered is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. "Before they call, I will answer. While they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24 WEB). The Lord knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them, and He is faithful to respond according to His perfect will.

The attacks and mockery you’ve endured are not unfamiliar to those who stand firm in faith. Jesus Himself warned us, "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you." (John 15:18 WEB). The enemy seeks to discourage and distract, but we rebuke every spirit of mockery, pride, and self-exaltation in the name of Jesus. Let us declare with boldness: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The Red Sea was parted not by Moses’ might, but by the power of God, just as your breakthrough will come not by man’s approval, but by the Lord’s sovereign hand.

We also encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or offense, for the enemy would love to use these attacks to harden your spirit. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right, it means you refuse to let it have power over you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We thank You that You hear our prayers even before we speak them. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would strengthen their faith and silence every voice of mockery and pride that seeks to undermine their trust in You. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of discouragement, self-righteousness, and division in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would reveal Your will and Your answers in this situation. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help them to walk in humility and forgiveness, even toward those who have sought to belittle their faith. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm, knowing that You are their defender and their reward.

We also pray for those who have mocked or insulted this prayer. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from pride to humility, from mockery to reverence for You.

Thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB). We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that Your plans for us are for peace and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is not mocked, and what a person sows, they will also reap. (Galatians 6:7 WEB). The enemy’s attacks are a sign that you are on the right path, for he would not bother with those who are not a threat to his kingdom. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up. (Hebrews 12:2, Galatians 6:9 WEB). God is faithful, and He will bring your prayers to pass according to His perfect will.

We can feel the weight of what you’re carrying, the sting of having something sacred mocked, and the ache of feeling you must guard your prayer in silence to protect it. We’re with you in that.

When others belittle a cry that came straight from your heart to God’s, it cuts deep. It can make you second-guess even the act of asking. But we want to gently remind you of something steady: faith isn’t a performance for an audience, and the power of your prayer doesn’t rise or fall on anyone’s approval. It rests entirely on the One who hears what no one else can. You’ve made your request known, even now, when it’s unspoken, and Jesus knows every syllable you’ve ever whispered in your spirit. That quiet place where only He sees? That’s holy ground, not weakness.

We’ve seen how often the comfort that holds people up in hard times comes not from crafting perfect words, but from simply knowing that others are willingly standing with them, and that God’s attention hasn’t wandered. So right now, we’re not going to prod you to explain anything further; we’re just going to pray with you, trusting that the mercy you’ve asked for is already at work in ways you may not see yet.

Jesus, we come alongside this person whose prayer has been bruised by mocking voices. Thank You that You aren’t deaf to the ache behind their words, even when they’re kept silent. Quiet the noise of critics, and let the truth of Your faithfulness speak louder. Give them the sturdy confidence that their trust is not misplaced, and that You are acting, even in hiddenness. It is well that you have resolved to keep your prayer unspoken before men, for He that seeth in secret shall reward thee openly; and when the heart groaneth without words, the Lord understandeth its meaning most of all. Let no scoffer’s ridicule shake thy confidence, for it is written, “whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believe that ye shall have it, and ye shall have it.” The laughter of them that sit in the seat of the scornful is no proof of divine displeasure; rather, it often heralds a great deliverance, even as they mocked at Moses until the sea swallowed them. Therefore, though the answer tarry, be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, yea, shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart; for as surely as God is God, He that heareth thy secret cry will cause thee to say ere long, “I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice.” My soul trusts in Him, this is the feather on the arrow of prayer that guideth it straight to the heart of God. When you cry out for mercy, you are already touching the very heart of prayer. The Lord taught us to pray this way, not to leave us uncertain, but to draw us into confidence. He who commanded us to ask for forgiveness has made the way easy, showing that His mercy surpasses all our offenses. Even after we have received His greatest gifts, if we sin again, He still counts us as those who may be forgiven. This is why He placed that prayer on our lips: not to mock our weakness, but to remind us that we can always wash ourselves clean through sincere repentance. So believe indeed that your plea is heard, not because you have framed it perfectly, but because His mercy is unspeakable.

But while you trust in His mercy, take care not to neglect your own part. You speak of hiding your prayer from malicious eyes, and I understand the impulse. Yet remember, prayer is a great weapon, and we need it not only in solitude but as we go forth into the daily battle. The marketplace is a war, the day a tempest. If we arm ourselves with prayer at dawn and throughout, we shall have no enemy that can truly harm us. Do not let the scoffing of others drive you entirely into silence. Their mockery is a wind that passes; your communion with God is a rock. Even if you must withdraw to pray unseen, do not cease to cry out to Him who hears in secret. The Lord Himself, when He walked toward His passion, spoke of praying for Peter, not because He needed to, but to accommodate our weakness and teach us. So too, He can use your hidden prayers mightily.

Still, consider this carefully: you long for God’s intervention, and you are right to ask in Jesus’ name alone. Yet the very prayer He taught us binds His mercy to our own mercy toward others. If we wish to obtain blessing, we must first show it. When you perceive an element attacking your prayer, perhaps seeking self-praise, guard your heart against revengeful passion. To forgive them is to clear the way for your own forgiveness. Do not let bitterness take root, for the unmerciful will face judgment without mercy. Your prayer, even unspoken, will rise more swiftly when it is joined to works worthy of blessing.

I perceive you are striving to believe the answer has already come. That is a good hope, if it is anchored not in presumption but in humble trust. We always need grace from God, whether we are great or small. Even Paul did not say, “What need have I of prayer?” He knew that both our own alertness and the prayers of others are needed. So do not isolate yourself entirely. Let the simplicity of children, who inherit the kingdom, remind you that lowly and simple souls can deliver the guilty by their entreaties. Entrust your cause to God, yes, but do not neglect to ask the faithful to hold you up as well, when wisdom allows.

Finally, let the form of your prayer be filled with thanksgiving. When Christ stood at the tomb of Lazarus, He prayed aloud not for His own need, but for the people standing by, that they might believe the Father had sent Him. He gave thanks before the miracle, showing the unity of His will with the Father’s. You too can give thanks in advance, not demanding a sign, but declaring your trust that He hears you always. This honors God and strengthens your own soul. Walk forward then with this confidence: He knows your unspoken prayer, His mercy is over you, and as you show mercy and remain watchful, you will not be put to shame.

It is clear you are carrying a deep burden, and the sting of having something so precious to you mocked cuts sharply. What others intend for self-praise or to belittle, the enemy intends for discouragement. This is not a battle against flesh and blood. Recognizing that is the first step toward standing firm rather than flailing in frustration and letting fear take root. Fear and faith cannot occupy the same ground. You have already placed this in Jesus' hands, and that is the precise point where faith must now hold steady, refusing to surrender to the anxiety that the attack has stirred up.

The desire to retreat into an unspoken prayer, known only to God, is understandable and even scriptural in a sense. The Father who sees in secret hears those cries. Yet let me gently remind you that prayer is not about a formula of words or the length of time we spend on our knees. It is not primarily about informing God of a need He already knows. The heart of prayer is alignment. Its great purpose is not to get our will done on earth, but to see His will accomplished. When you pray, it begins with His purposes, stirs in your heart, and returns to Him in trust. The most powerful prayer life is one that cycles from Him, through us, and back to Him.

Notice how you began. You cried out, “Have mercy!” That posture is the only right one for any of us. We never approach God demanding justice, for we would receive what we deserve. We come seeking mercy, not getting what we deserve, and grace, receiving what we do not deserve. Your prayer rests not on the perfection of how you framed it, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ. God accounts His righteousness to you through your faith in that work. That righteousness, like a breastplate, covers your heart against the accusations and the ridicule that Satan hurls at you. The shield of simple, trusting faith in Christ extinguishes those darts.

Jesus Himself prayed three times for a cup to pass from Him, and the answer was still no. His ultimate submission was, “Thy will be done.” He has taught us that prayer is also a listening posture. It is more than talking; it is waiting for Him to speak, to direct, to reveal. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man is powerful, but it rises not from desperation to have things our way, but from a heart so committed to God that it can honestly say, “Lord, I don’t fully understand what You are doing, but keep doing it.”

Nehemiah met mockery not by hiding his request forever in silence, but by turning it into a prayer. He said, “Hear, O our God, for we are despised,” and then he set a watch. He prayed and then acted responsibly. Your weapon against this attack is exactly that prayer, spoken in the Spirit, combined with the responsible action of entrusting the whole situation to the Judge of all the earth, who will do right. Do not resort to fighting in the flesh against a spiritual attack. Instead, release the burden again, stand in the faith you have declared, and let your request be known to the One whose kingdom, power, and glory are forever.
