We hear your cry and we are lifting you up before the Father right now, and we thank you for reaching out with such honesty about how overwhelmed and afraid you feel. You are not alone in this moment, and God sees you and hears you as you ask Him to keep you safe and to help you survive this day and this week. He is near to you in this distress.
The Lord is close to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We know the fear of not being sure you will be okay can feel crushing, but God promises do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He has also said He will never leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6, and when your heart is overwhelmed you can ask Him to lead you to the rock that is higher than you Psalm 61:2.
We notice you prayed to Dear God, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. To call on God through Jesus is to come to the One who invites you to come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28, and to know that you can cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.
We want to encourage you to not carry this burden alone. Please reach out today to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian believer, a family member or friend, or a counselor, and if you ever feel unsafe with your thoughts please reach out right away for help in your area, such as a crisis helpline or emergency services or someone who can stay with you. God often brings His comfort and protection through the people He places around us. Keep this one safe from harm and from despair, uphold with Your righteous right hand, and give strength for this day and hope for tomorrow. Reveal Your love through Jesus, show that there is purpose and hope in You, for we know Your thoughts are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Lead to help and support, surround with caring people, and remind that You are near to the brokenhearted. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Your cry though it trembles has come before the Lord who hears even the faintest whisper of a troubled heart. You have prayed, let me survive this day, let me survive this week, keep me safe and protected, and that prayer is not lost. The Lord says to such a one, Fear not, for I will help thee.
You must know that fear itself is weakening. It unfits you to meet the difficulty which presses upon you, and it dishonors the God who has promised to be your strength. Yet even the strongest of God's servants have known this fear. David who slew Goliath still cried out in his distress, and the Lord did not cast him out but kept him as His pupil still. He was chastened but never cast away. So it is with you. Your safety does not lie in your own steadiness, but in Him who is able to keep you from falling.
Hear what the Lord speaks to you this day. He does not say fear a little less, but Fear not, be not dismayed. It is a command, and with the command He gives the promise to make it possible. Fear not, for I am with you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, for I will help you. Fear not, for I have redeemed you. When those lips which are as lilies dropping sweet smelling myrrh say Fear not, how can you remain afraid. Your safety lies not in being afraid of Him, but in trusting Jesus.
You have nothing to do with the burden of tomorrow. That is His business and yours to do the right thing of this present hour and leave the result with God. Anxiety about what may be next week cannot carry you through this day, but trust in promised strength can. Labor then to get rid of fear as much as possible, not by looking within, but by looking to His side where mercy is all that is written there. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, and there is no condemnation to those who are in Him.
So I would urge you to take these steps even today. Tell the Lord again, plainly and honestly, all that makes you afraid. Then tell some faithful soul near you, a pastor, a trusted friend or family member, what you have told God, so you are not alone with this burden. If you feel you may not be safe, please reach out at once to someone who can be with you, and seek help from a counselor or a trusted helpline in your area. Do not go limping along alone when the Lord has provided helps for you.
May the only wise God our Savior keep you this day and this week, and present you with exceeding joy before His presence. He whose throne stands firm is your stronghold, and that throne shall sooner fail than one whom His eternal love has chosen shall perish.
Let us pray together. O God, You have taught us from our youth and You see this trembling one now. Take this fearful heart and help it to trust Your promise. Keep this dear soul from falling, hold them safe through this day and through this week, let them feel Your presence and Your help, and cleanse and comfort them through the blood of Your dear Son. Your cry has been heard and I am praying for you right now in your distress. God has heard your prayer to survive this day and this week and to be kept safe and protected.
The Scriptures remind us that God is everywhere present. He hears all things and sees all things, not only what is done and said but what is in the heart and in the depth of the soul. You are not alone and you are not unseen. Even now you are standing in the presence of the King who is near to you, who is patient and longsuffering and desires to bring you to hope and life.
Safety with God does not always mean that hard things are taken away at once. Sometimes His greatest help is not in preventing every blow but in sustaining us so that though we are struck we are not destroyed, and in giving us strength to endure with His help. He is a stronghold for those who fear Him. When we walk with Him, He works in us both to will and to work for His good pleasure. So we can work out our salvation with reverent fear and trembling, yet also with confidence and rejoicing, because it is God Himself who is at work in us and who will not abandon us.

Father in heaven, I lift up this one who is afraid and unsure if they will be okay. You see their heart and You hear their cry for safety today and this week.
