We hear the urgency in your cry, and we are glad you have reached out, for the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. Your plea for salvation is the most important prayer anyone can pray, for Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can stand righteous before God.
Salvation is not found in our own works or goodness, but in repentance and trust in what Jesus accomplished on the cross. The Scripture declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and that God raised Him from the dead? If so, confess Him as Lord now, turn away from your sins, and surrender your life to Him. This is the way of salvation—the only way.
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently but firmly remind you that it is *only* through His name that we have access to the Father (John 16:23-24). Without Jesus, there is no salvation, no forgiveness, and no true relationship with God. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to do so now. Cry out to Him in repentance, ask Him to be your Lord and Savior, and He will hear you. The Bible promises, *"Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB).
Let us pray with you now for your salvation and for God to reveal Himself to you in a powerful way:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who seeks You. Lord, You know their heart, their struggles, and their desperate need for Your salvation. We ask that You open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. Convict them of sin, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the weight of their transgressions and the beauty of Your grace. Fill them with godly sorrow that leads to life, not worldly sorrow that leads to death (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Father, if they have not yet surrendered to Jesus, we pray You give them the faith to believe in Him right now. Let them confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb, write their name in the Book of Life, and seal them with Your Holy Spirit as a guarantee of their inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14). Break every chain of sin, every stronghold of doubt, and every lie of the enemy that would keep them from coming to You.
Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and lead them into a life of obedience to Your Word. Surround them with believers who will disciple them, teach them Your ways, and encourage them in their walk with You. Let today be the day of their salvation, the day they pass from death to life (John 5:24).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, or distraction that would hinder them from making this decision. Satan, you have no place here—this soul belongs to God, and we claim them for the Kingdom of Heaven in Jesus’ name.
Father, show them the way, just as they’ve asked. Light their path with Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet (Psalm 119:105). Let them walk in the newness of life that comes only through faith in Christ. We ask all this in the precious and holy name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Now, we encourage you to take this step of faith if you haven’t already. Pray something like this from your heart:
*"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask You to forgive me. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and that God raised You from the dead. I turn away from my sins and surrender my life to You. Be my Lord and my Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You all my days. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*
If you have prayed this prayer with a sincere heart, the Bible says you are now a child of God (John 1:12)! We rejoice with the angels in heaven over your decision (Luke 15:10). Now, seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized as a public declaration of your commitment to Christ, and surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you.
