We lift up your precious daughter with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her healing and restoration. Father God, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, as Your Word tells us in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We ask You, Lord, to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young one. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and we trust in Your power to restore her liver and every part of her body to full health. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, we also pray for strength and comfort for this family as they walk through this valley. Your Word promises in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Father, draw near to them in this time of fear and uncertainty. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that they are never alone—You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You provide them with godly community, wise medical counsel, and the assurance of Your unfailing love.
We also lift up this mother’s desire for her daughter to become a devout servant of the Lord. Father, we pray that You would capture this young heart early, that she would come to know You intimately and walk in the purpose You have for her. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and man (Luke 2:52). May her life be a testimony of Your goodness and grace, and may she rise up to serve You with passion and devotion.
We must also address the importance of grounding our faith in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed and made whole. We encourage this family to continue to call upon the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If they have not already, we pray they would confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, believing in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father, we stand on Your promises and declare that this child will live and not die, that she will declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). We speak life over her body, mind, and spirit, and we trust in Your perfect will for her life. May Your glory be revealed through her healing, and may many come to know You as a result. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of this family. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
