We join you in lifting up your husband before the Lord, knowing that God honors the prayers of a faithful wife who seeks His will for her family. Your heart for your husband’s work and provision is a beautiful reflection of Proverbs 31:11-12, which says, *"The heart of her husband trusts in her. She does him good and not harm all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and works eagerly with her hands."* Your intercession is a powerful testimony of love and trust in God’s sovereignty over your family’s future.
We are encouraged by your faith in God’s good plans, as declared in Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your prayer aligns with Scripture, and we stand with you in asking God to grant your husband wisdom, favor, and clarity as he speaks with his manager. May the Lord open doors that no man can shut, just as He promises in Revelation 3:8: *"I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut."*
We also pray that your husband would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord fill him with confidence, not in his own abilities, but in the strength that comes from trusting in the Lord, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Let us also encourage you to continue covering your husband in prayer, for the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16). As you seek the Lord together as a couple, may your marriage be a testament to God’s faithfulness, reflecting the love and unity described in Ecclesiastes 4:12: *"If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."* With Christ as the center of your marriage, you are unshakable.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this sister’s faithfulness in prayer and her trust in You. We ask that You go before her husband tomorrow, preparing the way for a conversation filled with Your wisdom and grace. Give him the right words to speak, that they may be seasoned with salt and full of honesty, humility, and hope (Colossians 4:6). Lord, we ask that You soften the heart of his manager and grant favor in this situation. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, and let Your peace reign in their home.
We also pray for unity in their marriage, that they would continue to seek You together and rely on Your strength. May their home be a place of rest, encouragement, and godly love. Remind them both that their ultimate provision comes from You, and that as they seek first Your Kingdom, all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into their hearts, declaring that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let them rest in the assurance that You are their Provider, their Guide, and their Peace.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
