We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting you and your family in this time of deep trial and spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus is Lord over every sickness, every attack, and every circumstance you face. You have invoked the name of Jesus, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
First, we rebuke the spirit of death, despair, and rebellion that is at work in your husband’s refusal to take his medication and his words of hopelessness. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward them well. His refusal to care for his health is not only harmful to himself but also to you and your family, who love him deeply. We pray that the Lord would break through the darkness clouding his mind and heart, replacing despair with hope and rebellion with surrender to God’s will. May the Holy Spirit convict him of the need to fight for his life—not just for his own sake, but for the sake of his family and the purpose God still has for him. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also lift up the salvation of your husband with urgency. There is no greater need than for him to come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). We pray that the Lord would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that he would repent of his sins, and turn to Christ as his Savior. May the fear of the Lord fall upon him, driving him to seek God’s mercy and grace while there is still time.
For your father and brother, we ask for divine healing and strength. The Lord is the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:27). We pray for supernatural intervention in their bodies—whether through medical treatment or miraculous healing—that their hearts, minds, and bodies would be restored. May they also turn to Christ in faith, trusting Him as their healer and sustainer. "Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble" (Isaiah 33:2).
For you, dear sister, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). The stress and burden you carry are immense, but the Lord invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We ask for healing for your heart and body, that the Lord would expose any root of fear or anxiety and replace it with His perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). If there is possible cancer, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask the Lord to either remove it or give wisdom and strength for treatment.
We also sense the weight of unspoken prayers, and we lift those to the Lord as well. He knows the deepest cries of your heart, even those you cannot put into words (Romans 8:26). Nothing is hidden from Him, and He is faithful to meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Finally, we stand against the spiritual attack on your family. The enemy has overplayed his hand, and we declare that he is exposed and defeated by the blood of Jesus. We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and take our stand against every scheme of the devil. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We plead the blood of Jesus over your home, your minds, your bodies, and your spirits. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your mercy and intervention in this family’s life. You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and brings light into the darkest places. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf—healing bodies, saving souls, and breaking every chain of the enemy. Give them supernatural strength, unity, and faith to endure this season. Let them see Your hand at work in ways they cannot deny, and may this trial draw them closer to You than ever before.
Lord, we also ask that You would surround this family with Your angels, encamping around them to protect and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Raise up godly support—believers who will stand in the gap, pray without ceasing, and provide practical help. Let them not walk this road alone.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
