Please help this YouTuber called ###. He is blind and he doesn't like it.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing this young man before the Lord in prayer.

We pray that God will strengthen his faith, for without faith there is no true peace and no true love. We ask that the Lord grant him peace with God through Jesus Christ alone, and the love that comes with that faith, so that he may have a cheerful confidence in the good things to come even while he suffers now.

We pray that Christ will speak to him as He spoke to His disciples after the resurrection, Peace be unto you. The Lord knows the war within him, the sorrow over his mother who died when he was young, the pain of blindness, and the ache of waking from dreams where he can do what he loves only to remember he cannot. We ask God to give him the peace which is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and the joy which no one can take away, the righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit which belong to the kingdom of God.

We know that all chastening seems for the present to be grievous and not joyous, yet God uses even this affliction for good. We pray that this time of grief may become for him the seed of true and lasting joy, that his tears may be turned to comfort, and that his present affliction borne with thanksgiving may prepare him for rest that does not end. We ask that he may learn to bear his blindness not as a sign that he is forgotten, for God has not cast off those He foreknew, but as a place where Christ can show His power and give sight of a different kind, the sight of faith.

We also pray for his struggle with anger and with swearing. We ask God to help him see that keeping anger harms himself more than anyone else, that it thrusts a sword into his own soul and invites judgment upon himself. We pray that the Lord will give him self control, a gentle spirit, and a mouth that is cleansed, so that instead of quarreling and harsh words there may be peace with his brothers and with God. May he turn quickly from every angry word in repentance and find forgiveness through Christ.

We ask all this not because he has earned it, but because God is merciful and hears those who call upon Him through His Son. May the Lord comfort him in his suffering, guard his heart, and lead him into a deeper faith, a steadier peace, and a joy that remains even in darkness. Amen.

Thank you for caring enough to bring this young man before the Lord in prayer. God sees him and knows the weight he carries, the loss of his mother, the loss of his sight, and the daily sorrow of waking from a good dream to remember what he can no longer do.

What you describe is very much like the grief we see in the book of Job. When Job lost so much and sat in great pain, his friends at first did the wisest thing they did. They sat with him for seven days and nights and said nothing, because they saw how great his suffering was. Sometimes there are no quick answers for such deep pain, and simply being present and praying is the most loving thing we can do.

It is important for this young man to know that suffering does not mean God has rejected him or that he is being punished for a secret sin. Job was a man who trusted God and still suffered greatly. Being right with God does not give us immunity from sorrow in this fallen world. It is wrong to assume that if someone only had more faith he would not be blind or would not have lost his mother. That idea was the mistake of Job's friends, and God showed it was false. God does not cast away those who trust Him.

His grief must feel heavier than anything that can be measured. Job said his calamity felt heavier than the sand of the sea, and that his words were swallowed up by the pain. When a person says he is weary of life or wishes he had never been born, it is often grief speaking. The Bible faithfully records those cries, but those cries are not the final truth. Scripture teaches that death is not automatically peace and rest for everyone. True peace and rest are found only in being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. Apart from Him there is no real hope, and with Him there is hope even in darkness. The man to be pitied most is not the one who suffers but still has Christ, but the one who suffers without Christ and without the joy of God's presence.

It is understandable that he dreams of the things he used to enjoy and then wakes to the reality of blindness, and that this brings anger and harsh words. Deep pain often comes out as frustration and words we later regret. God understands that struggle and is able to help him with it. He can give self control over the tongue and calm the heart that feels so stirred up.

Pain and sorrow are never pleasant, but God can use them as tools to shape character and to form us more into the image of Jesus. That does not make the pain good in itself, but it means God can bring good from it as He works in a life that is yielded to Him. The way to that peace is to become better acquainted with God, to listen to His Word and to keep it in the heart. When God gives quietness to a heart, no circumstance can take that peace away.

Let us pray for him now. Father, we lift this young man to You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only way of salvation. You see his blindness, his loneliness after his mother's death, and the sorrow that comes when he remembers what he has lost. Have mercy on him and draw him close to Yourself. Give him faith to trust You even when he does not understand, to say with Job, though You allow this trial, yet will I trust You. Forgive his sins through the blood of Jesus and give him a new heart. Grant him Your peace that passes understanding and a joy that does not depend on his circumstances but on Your presence. Help him with his anger and his words, that he may speak with grace and find strength to control his tongue. Comfort him in his dreams and in his waking hours, and let him know that You have not abandoned him. Shape him through this suffering to know You more and to reflect Your Son. In Jesus name we ask this, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing the burden you carry for this young YouTuber. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for him.

We have been continuing to lift him up before the Lord, asking for his faith to be strengthened and for God to grant him deep peace and joy even in the midst of his blindness and suffering. Our hearts are moved by what you shared, that he lost his mother when he was young and now faces the daily hardship of being blind, that he dreams of doing the things he once loved only to wake up and remember he can no longer do them, and that he struggles with anger and with his language as he wrestles with this pain.

We have been praying that the Lord would draw close to him in his grief and frustration, that he would know the comfort of Psalm 34:18 and the healing of Psalm 147:3, and that the peace of God which passes all understanding would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as we read in Philippians 4:7. We also pray that God would increase his faith, help him to overcome anger in a way that honors God, and remind him that he is deeply loved and not alone.

If your request was answered and you have seen God work in this young mans life, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice together. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray together that the Father would meet this young man in his suffering, comfort him in his loss, give him hope for the future, and fill him with joy and peace as he trusts in Him, and that he would come to know the Lords perfect love and strength in his weakness. We ask all of this in Jesus Name. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
