Servant of All
Please pray for his faith. Please pray for him to have peace and joy. His Mom died when he was ###. Now, he is blind. He said he has dreams where he did stuff he liked, and he wakes up and knows he can't do those things anymore because he is blind. He also struggles with swearing and getting mad. Please pray for him. He is suffering a lot.

We are deeply moved by your burden for this young man and we join you in lifting him up before our heavenly Father seeking His will together in Jesus name.

We hear how heavy his suffering is. To lose his mother when he was young and now to live with blindness, to dream of doing things he loves and then wake to the reality that he cannot do them, this is a profound grief. We know our God sees every tear and draws near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Psalm 56:8 says You number my wanderings. You put my tears into Your bottle. Are they not in Your book. He has not forgotten this young man and his pain is not hidden from the Lord. We also remember that blindness does not diminish his worth or his ability to know God and be used by Him. In John 9:3 Jesus said of a man born blind that it was not because of sin but that the works of God might be revealed in him. Psalm 146:8 says Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Even if physical sight is not restored in this life, God promises to lead the blind on a way they do not know and to turn darkness into light before them in Isaiah 42:16, and to be an everlasting light to His people.

We pray for his faith and for the peace and joy you asked for. True peace and joy do not depend on circumstances but come from knowing Christ and trusting His promises. Isaiah 26:3 says You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Romans 15:13 says Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says My grace is sufficient for you for My power is made perfect in weakness. We ask the Lord to show this young man that His grace can sustain him even in this blindness, that the joy of the Lord can still be his strength as Nehemiah 8:10 teaches, and that God can work all things together for good for those who love Him as Romans 8:28 promises.

We also want to lovingly address the struggles you mentioned with swearing and getting mad. We understand that suffering can bring deep frustration and anger, yet Scripture calls us to handle anger and our words differently. Ephesians 4:29 says Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth but only what is good for building others up as the need may be that it may give grace to those who hear. James 1:19-20 says let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Ephesians 4:26 says Be angry and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath. Colossians 3:8 says but now you also put them all away anger, wrath, malice, slander and shameful speaking out of your mouth. We rebuke the use of corrupt and angry speech because it does not honor God and it can harden the heart, yet we do so with hope because 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God can give him a new heart and self control as part of the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. We pray that this young man and all who care for him will put their full trust in Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and rose again, who alone can forgive, heal the heart, give eternal life and give peace that remains even in darkness.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven we lift up this dear young man to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know his name, his blindness, his grief over his mother, his dreams and his waking sorrow, his anger and his words. Lord have mercy on him. Comfort him as the Father of mercies and God of all comfort in 2 Corinthians 1:3. Pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding upon his heart and fill him with joy in believing. Strengthen his faith and help him to trust You more each day. Open the eyes of his heart that he may see Your love, Your presence and Your purpose for his life. Help him to turn from corrupt speech and from sinful anger and to speak words that give grace. Forgive him and cleanse him through the blood of Jesus and fill him with Your Holy Spirit that he may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience and self control. Lead him to know Jesus as his Savior and Lord, to cast all his anxiety on You because You care for him as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and to find rest as Matthew 11:28 invites Come to me all you who labor and are heavily burdened and I will give you rest. Give him hope for today and for eternity where Revelation 21:4 promises He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this young man to us in prayer. We can hear how much his story has moved you, and it is a kind thing that you are standing with him instead of just scrolling past.

Losing his mom when he was so young and now living with blindness are two very deep losses layered on each other. It makes sense that he would have dreams where he is doing the things he used to love, and then wake up to the ache that he cannot do them the same way now. That waking up moment can feel like a fresh loss each time. When someone is carrying that much grief and trying to adjust to such a life changing condition, it is understandable that anger and harsh words would surface at times. Working through that kind of sorrow takes a long time and a lot of grace, and no two people walk through it the same way.

Your prayers for his faith, peace and joy are a beautiful way to love him from where you are. If you do watch his channel, a brief and respectful comment letting him know someone is praying for him and cares about him can be a small, steady encouragement without putting any pressure on him to respond.

We are joining you in praying for him.

Father, we lift this young man to You in Jesus name. You know his loss, his loneliness, and the pain he feels when those dreams fade and he wakes up. Draw near to him with Your comfort, steady his heart, and give him moments of real peace and joy. Strengthen his faith and help him know he is seen and not alone. Bring caring people around him and guide him day by day. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your burden for this blind man and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace.

We pray for him that the Lord will look upon him in his great affliction. He has lost his mother, he has lost his sight, and his heart is full of sorrow when he dreams of what he once did and wakes to find he can do it no more. We ask the God of all comfort to have mercy upon him and to draw near to him in his suffering.

We pray first for his faith. Faith is a simple trust in Christ, a dropping down into the arms of the Saviour. It is not joy and peace that make faith, but faith that brings joy and peace as its consequence. Joy and peace are the flowers of faith, and where faith is planted in the ground, they will come in due season. We pray that the Lord will increase his faith, for even little faith is true faith and precious in the sight of God, and the Lord can make little faith to grow into great faith. Though his faith is tried, as all true faith must be tried, we pray it may be found to be true faith that can bear the trial and say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. May the Lord put strength in him, for He will put strength in every one who trusts Him.

We pray that the God of hope will fill him with all joy and peace in believing, according to Romans 15:13. We do not ask for a joy that hinders faith, but for that solid joy which comes by believing in the risen Christ, a joy which no man taketh from him. Christ creates joy by touching the very centre of our grief and covering it with that which is greater than the grief itself. May the blood of Christ whisper peace within him, that perfect peace which God keeps for those whose mind is stayed upon Him because they trust in Him. Though sorrows surge round him and loved ones are far away, though blindness presses upon him daily, may he know that to do the will of Jesus is rest, and that Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers.

We pray also for his struggle with anger and with swearing. These are sins of the tongue and of the heart which grieve the Spirit, but there is forgiveness with Christ and power to overcome them. We ask the Lord to give him a new heart and to tame his tongue, that by faith he may bear his troubles without fretfulness and anger, looking for the blessed expectation of the future which makes present troubles light. May the Holy Spirit work in him repentance and holiness, and teach him to find strength not in his own comfort but in Christ alone.

We ask all this not because we deserve it, but because salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, who is able to save to the uttermost and to keep in perfect peace. May this man be brought to know Christ as his Lord, to trust Him with his whole soul, and to find in Him a joy that remains even when sight is gone and the heart is sorrowful, until earthly struggles cease and Jesus calls him to heavens perfect peace. Amen.
