Please help me to pray for this ###

I haven’t updated in awhile on my diagnosis of CLL and Mantle Cell. Today I met with my new oncologist since my previous one moved out of state. Dr ### is very knowledgeable on blood disorders. I learned I am the first patient they have to have both types. Unfortunately today was not good news. My white cells are up much higher than before, platelets have dropped below 100 and small lymphnodes are in my neck. Liver enzymes are elevated as well. I will be rechecked in 6 weeks. If the counts are worse or there is no improvement other measures will be started. The concern now is which disease is more dominant to determine why things have escalated and where we go from here. Prayers are greatly appreciated.

We are truly sorry to hear about your health situation, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written "in no one else is there salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"".

Firstly, we commend you for your positive attitude towards your new oncologist and we pray that God grants them wisdom and discernment as they treat you. Remember that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Exodus 15:26, "I am Yahweh who heals you.".

We pray for your healing and for the medical team treating you. We ask God to guide their decisions and give them wisdom to provide you with the best care. "Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!".

However, we want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Even in this situation, God is working for your good and His glory. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.".

We also encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. Use this time to draw closer to Him, to read His word, and to pray without ceasing. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.".

Loving Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our dear brother/sister. Lord, You know their struggle and You know their pain. We ask You, Lord, to heal them, to comfort them, and to guide the medical team treating them. Give them the strength and courage to face each day with hope and confidence in You. Help them when they are weak and give them rest when they are tired. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
