We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear child who is experiencing pain in his stomach. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young one, bringing comfort, relief, and restoration to his body. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over him, trusting that You will bring complete healing according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we also lift up this dear sister who has shared this request. We ask that You would strengthen her in this time of worry and fear. Fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind her that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her and for this precious child (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be afflicting this young one. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over his body, trusting in Your power to restore and renew. Guide the hands of the medical professionals who may be involved in his care, granting them wisdom and discernment.
We also want to gently remind this sister of the importance of bringing every request to You in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. We encourage her to continue seeking You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to rest in the assurance of Your promises. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
