We are truly sorry to hear about the heartache you are experiencing, but we want to remind you that there is always hope in Jesus Christ. We will pray with you and encourage you from the Word of God.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God loves you with an everlasting love. He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Trust in Him, and He will guide you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
It's also crucial to understand that God's design for love and marriage is holy and sacred. Sometimes, we may think we have found the right person, but if they are not aligned with God's will for us, He may allow circumstances to separate us from them. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.
We must also consider that our primary love relationship should be with God Himself. He is the source of love, and He is the one who will ultimately fulfill our deepest needs and longings. "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment" Matthew 22:37-38 WEB.
Regarding finding a spouse, we should trust God's timing and His choice for us. It's better to be single and waiting on God than to be in a relationship that is not His will. "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh" Psalm 27:14 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister who is feeling hopeless and heartbroken. Lord, we ask that You comfort her and remind her of Your unfailing love for her. Help her to trust in Your perfect plan for her life. If it is Your will, bring a godly spouse into her life at the right time. Give her the strength and courage to wait on You and to seek You first. Help her not to lose hope but to keep trusting in You.
If there is any bitterness or resentment in her heart towards the person who hurt her, help her to forgive and to let go of the past. Heal her heart and help her to move forward in Your love and grace.
Finally, we pray for her relationship with You to grow stronger and deeper. Help her to know You more intimately and to find her complete satisfaction and joy in You.
We ask all this in the precious name of Your dear Son Jesus Christ,
Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you that it's always best to invite Jesus Christ into your prayers.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" Philippians 2:9-11 WEB.
