While we are not here to provide technical training, we believe that all wisdom and knowledge come from God, and we can certainly pray for His guidance and provision as you seek to learn Microsoft Excel.

James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We can trust that God will provide the resources and understanding you need as you seek to learn this new skill.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your guidance and wisdom for our brother or sister who seeks to learn Microsoft Excel. Lord, You are the source of all knowledge and understanding, and we ask that You would open their mind to comprehend and retain what they are learning. Provide them with the right teachers, resources, and opportunities to grow in this skill. Give them patience and perseverance as they practice and learn. May this new knowledge be used for Your glory and to further Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

The desire to learn a skill for ordering and reckoning may spring from a good motive, yet take heed that your first pursuit be not the mere tool but the wisdom that directs its use. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and Christ is that wisdom; in Him are hid all the treasures of knowledge. To learn of Him is the science of sciences, and if you are found in Him, you will find that the practical arts of this life take their proper place as handmaids to a holy calling.
There is no shame in seeking proficiency in such a thing as Excel, for a wise steward uses every means to order his affairs with diligence. The Sidonians were skilled in hewing timber, and Solomon in his wisdom employed them for the house of the Lord. Even so, let your learning be sanctified by a purpose higher than self. Go month by month between the Lebanon of your labor and the home of your soul's rest, lest you grow weary in the one by neglecting the other.
Yet I would urge you, do not become like those who search through the earth for gold and precious stones, thinking that in human skill alone they have found the chief good. The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal wisdom, and no tutorial can impart that spiritual understanding which enables a man to walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then, whether you handle spreadsheets or sweep streets, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by Him.
