Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of our dear friend who is in desperate need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift up this weary soul to You, asking for Your comfort and peace to surround this person.
Lord, You promised in Your Word that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31). We pray that You would renew the strength of this parent, who is striving to provide and care for the children despite feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
Father, we know that You care for us and invite us to cast all our anxieties on You (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You would lift the burdens off this person's shoulders and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your love and grace be a source of encouragement and hope.
Lord Jesus, You said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (John 11:28). We pray that this individual would find rest in You, and that Your presence would be a constant source of strength and comfort.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You will provide the support and strength needed to persevere. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
