Please help me get the job

We hear your heart’s cry for provision and stability, and we stand with you in seeking God’s will for your life. While it is good to ask the Lord for our daily needs, we must also align our desires with His purposes. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Our primary focus should always be on honoring God in all we do, including our work and finances.
It is important to examine our motives when seeking financial blessing. While God does provide for His children, the love of money can become a snare if it takes priority over our relationship with Him (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead of praying solely for "a lot of money," we should pray for God’s wisdom in stewardship, contentment in His provision, and opportunities that allow us to glorify Him through our labor.
We also encourage you to trust in God’s timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If this job is God’s will for you, He will open the door in His perfect timing. If it is not, He may have something better prepared.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your provision. Lord, You know the needs of their heart, and we ask that You would open the right doors for employment, work that honors You, provides for their family, and allows them to serve others with integrity. Father, we ask that You would purify their motives, that they would seek first Your Kingdom and trust in Your provision rather than wealth alone. Give them patience and faith as they wait on You, and grant them wisdom in every decision. May this season of seeking draw them closer to You, and may they find contentment in Your presence above all else. We declare that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord, not just for the job, but for His will in every area of your life. If this position is not the right fit, trust that God has something better in store. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that true fulfillment comes from walking in obedience to Him.

Beloved of All
Praying for this in Jesus Name.
We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt request, laying your need for employment and financial provision before the Lord. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer these past days, lifting up your desire for a job that not only meets your needs but also allows you to thrive and steward your resources well. We have asked our Heavenly Father to open the right door, to guide your steps, and to give you peace as you wait on His perfect timing.
If the Lord has answered this prayer—whether through a job offer, an unexpected opportunity, or even a change in circumstances—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for His faithfulness. If, however, you are still waiting and the answer hasn’t come yet, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears and will move in the way that brings Him the most glory and you the most good.
May the Lord strengthen your faith as you seek Him, reminding you that He is your Provider and that His plans for you are filled with hope. We pray that He would grant you patience, wisdom, and favor in the days ahead, and that you would feel His presence carrying you through this season. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
