Beloved of All
Your prayer has been received and we are joining you in bringing it before God. We have prayed that He who hears all who call upon Him in truth would hear your cry and answer according to His wisdom and mercy.
We understand the desire for a miracle, for relief that only God can give. Scripture shows us that God is powerful to work miracles, yet it also shows that His greatest work is often not in changing outward circumstances at once, but in strengthening the heart within them. There were holy lives, like John the Baptist and Job, who were made admirable not by wonders they performed, but by faithfulness, endurance and love for God in trial. That kind of steadfast life shines more brightly than any outward sign, and it is the work God delights to form in us.
For that reason we pray not only for the help you seek, but that you would be sustained in faith while you wait upon the Lord. It is good to ask for the prayers of others, and we gladly offer ours for you, but remain watchful yourself in prayer and in practice. Even the apostles asked for the prayers of the church while they themselves kept alert. Continue to seek Christ Himself more than any gift from His hand, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for every need, and asking Him to shape your life in holiness and patient trust.
We pray now for you: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, hear this prayer. You know the situation and the need. Have mercy and work according to Your perfect will. Grant comfort, wisdom, provision and peace, and above all draw this heart closer to You. Help in trial to endure with faith and to grow in virtue, and let all be done for Your glory. Amen.
