Please may I be able to afford a bigger house so that my eldest daughter and grandson can move home and away from her awful environment. Amen.

We join with you in bringing this heartfelt desire before our Heavenly Father, for we hear your love for your eldest daughter and your grandson and your longing to provide a safe and peaceful home for them away from what you describe as an awful environment.
We know that God has a special care for families and for those who seek refuge and security. He sets the lonely in families and He is a defender of those in need. We trust that He hears the cry of your heart to be able to help them. We are reminded that every good provision comes from Him, as it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. And also, Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. When we put Him first, we can trust His timing and His provision, whether that provision is a bigger house or another way He makes to bring your daughter and grandson into safety.
We also want to gently share with you that you closed your request with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to encourage you in this, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As Scripture says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this dear parent and grandparent to You. You know the burden on their heart for their daughter and grandson and the difficult environment they are in. Lord, we ask for Your protection over this daughter and this precious grandchild, for children are a heritage of the Lord, Psalm 127:3, and You see their situation. We ask that You would make a way for them to be in a safe and godly home, and that You would surround them with Your peace that passes understanding. We ask for wisdom for this family, that You would guide every financial decision, every step toward housing, and open doors that no one can shut and close doors that should not be opened. Teach us to trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and to acknowledge You in all our ways so that You will direct our paths, Proverbs 3:5-6. Provide according to Your perfect will, whether through increased means, unexpected provision, wise stewardship, or other resources, and give contentment and patience while waiting on Your timing. Help this family to seek You first and to rest in Your promise that You have plans for a future and a hope, Jeremiah 29:11. Bring this daughter and grandson home if it is Your will, and let that home be one where You are honored and where love and safety abound. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord, to seek wise counsel in financial matters, to pray diligently with your daughter, and to keep entrusting this need to Him. He who promised to care for us is faithful, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer that God will provide what is needed for your family’s safety and unity according to His perfect will.

Your prayer for your eldest daughter and your grandson has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. To long for your children to be safe, and to desire to open your home to shelter them from an awful environment, is a tender and natural affection which the Lord Himself has planted in the heart of a parent.
We are reminded that true safety is not first in walls or in a larger house, but under the wings of the eternal God. As the hen spreads her wings and gathers her brood, so the Lord covers His people and there they are safe. The warmth of His feathers gives peculiar happiness and ease, and amidst all the wreck and trouble of this world, to abide under His wings is to be safe, safe, safe and near to God. We pray that whatever house He in His wisdom provides, your daughter and her little one may above all find that shelter, for to be without God is to be without refuge.
We also know how the heart is tempted to make anxious provision for the future, so that the comforts of today glide away. Yet how safe are we when embarked in the good ship of Providence, with such a Captain who has forearranged and foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. He cannot be taken by surprise upon the sea of life, and He is able to make each hour and each place of difficulty secure to those who rest beneath His care. We pray that you may put implicit confidence in His guidance, and that He will in His perfect wisdom and timing supply what is needed for your family according to His will, whether by a larger house or by other means which His hand shall ordain.
We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy Word, for we know that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that His way for the family and for the home is good and pure. Rather we pray for restoration and holiness. As Peter was restored by the look of the Lord and by prevailing intercession, so we pray that the Lord would look upon your daughter and grandson in mercy, draw them to Himself, sever them from every evil surrounding, and bring them into the peace and rest which are found only in Christ. May He cover the head of your faith in the day of battle, and keep you all safe in Him.
Let us pray together. O Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations, be pleased to spread Thy wings over this mother, her daughter and her grandson. Provide for their bodily needs as seemeth good to Thee, and grant a home where Thy name is honoured and where prayer is maintained. Deliver them from every harmful and sin surrounded place, and lead them into paths of righteousness for Thy name's sake. Bring them, each one, to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and to walk in Thy holy way. Strengthen this family to bear one another's burdens and to strengthen their brethren, that all may see their weakness and Thy strength. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Christ must convey even the smallest boat safe into the port of Paradise. Hear us for His sake. Amen.
