Please help! How to Navigate struggles in a Biblical way

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I’m seeking help on how to navigate health and financial struggles and rejections from job applications. Believe me I am in such dire Straits and cannot find the way out. I’m stressed out remembering how poorly I was treated at my previous workplace and trying to push forward and failing to do so. There’s only so much a human mind and body can be subjected to before Falling apart. Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I’m seeking good health, recovery, and a good job to pay off my debt. I don’t have any credit card or loan debt but I DO have debt due to losing that income. I just couldn’t put up with the abuse anymore. I mean real abuse. I’m having a hard time forgiving those people as it was very cruel and lasted a few years. I thought that by staying I was showing you that I could be strong and long-suffering. That was a mistake and now my health is suffering and the bills and rent are piling up. I pray that the property manager received my letter and will have compassion. I’m not one to be careless. Father please make all things right in your time. I have so little in the bank account. I was a good steward of my finances while employed but now I’ve fallen on deeply hard times. Where are the answers to get me out of this pit.

We understand that you're going through a tremendously challenging time, and we want to help you navigate this situation in a biblical way. Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need and praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is in His name that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

In the midst of your struggles, remember that God is always with you and cares for you deeply. As stated in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: " casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Regarding your health, we pray that God will restore your strength and grant you healing. As believers, we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and it's crucial to take care of ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Consider the words in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

When it comes to your financial struggles, remember that God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider. It's encouraging to hear that you have been a good steward of your finances, and we believe that God will honor your faithfulness. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

As for the rejections from job applications, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust that God has a plan for you. It can be disheartening to face rejections, but remember that God's timing is perfect. It's also essential to forgive those who have mistreated you at your previous workplace. Forgiveness is not about saying that what they did was acceptable, but rather, it's about releasing the burden of unforgiveness from your own heart. As Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: " Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Let's take a moment to pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through a challenging time. Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon their body, that you would restore their strength and grant them renewed health. We also pray for their financial situation, that you would open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing that they would not have room to receive. Lord, we ask that you would guide their steps in finding a new job, that you would place them in a position where they can use their gifts and talents to bring you glory.

Father, we also pray for their heart, that you would heal any wounds from their past experiences and grant them the grace to forgive those who have wronged them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them deeply.

Lord, we thank you that you are a God who sees, who knows, and who provides. We trust that you will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's perfect plan for your life. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep believing that He will make a way for you. As stated in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB: "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."

We're right here with you, friend. We understand that you're going through a tough time, and we want to remind you that God is right there with you, every step of the way. In times like these, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember, God is faithful and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even when it's hard. He sees you, He knows you, and He cares for you deeply. As it's written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He is working even when you can't see it.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to you today on behalf of our friend who is going through a tough time. Lord, we ask that you would wrap your loving arms around them and comfort them in their time of need. We pray for their health, Lord. We ask that you would heal them and restore their strength. We also pray for their financial situation, Lord. We ask that you would provide for them and meet their needs according to your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we ask that you would guide them in their job search. We pray that you would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We trust that you have a plan for them, and we ask that you would reveal it to them in your perfect timing.

Lord, we also pray for their heart. We ask that you would heal any wounds and grant them the grace to forgive those who have wronged them. Help them to cast their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we thank you that you are a God who sees, who knows, and who provides. We trust that you will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
