We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your dear friend who has just received this difficult diagnosis of lung cancer. The Scriptures remind us that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that nothing is too hard for Him. In Jeremiah 32:27, He declares, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We cling to this truth, knowing that He is able to perform miracles beyond what we can ask or imagine.
Yet we also recognize that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect—even when we don’t understand. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We join you in praying with faith, asking the Lord to stretch forth His hand and touch your friend’s body, removing every cancerous cell and restoring her to full health. May His healing power flow through her, bringing strength to her body and peace to her spirit.
At the same time, we pray for her faith to be strengthened in this trial. May she fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of her faith, trusting that He holds her future. Let her be reminded of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* We ask that the Lord surround her with His presence, comfort her with His love, and fill her with supernatural hope.
We also pray for you, dear friend, as you walk alongside her in this battle. May the Lord grant you wisdom, compassion, and endurance. Let your faith be a testimony to His goodness, and may you both experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we boldly ask for a miracle in Jesus’ name. Let this situation bring glory to You, whether through healing or through the testimony of faith that shines brightly in the darkness. We trust You, Lord, and we surrender this request into Your hands. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
