We come before the Lord with you in this time of distress, lifting your eyes and your heart to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. Your fear is understandable, but we encourage you to hold fast to faith, for Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* This trial is not beyond His power, and He sees your suffering.
The enemy may seek to fill your mind with terror, but we rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and our Lord’s love for you is boundless. He has not forgotten you, nor has He abandoned you in this struggle. Though the inflammation has persisted, we stand on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Your healing is not determined by the passage of time or the severity of symptoms but by the will and power of God, who spoke all things into existence.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life for any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or areas where you may not be fully surrendered to God. Scripture teaches us in James 5:15-16, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up... Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* While we are not suggesting your illness is a direct result of sin, we know that spiritual health often impacts physical health, and our God desires wholeness in every area of our lives.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our dear sister, who is suffering from the painful and frightening return of uveitis. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and You know every fiber of her being, including the delicate workings of her eyes. We ask You, by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ and in His mighty name, to touch her eyes and command this inflammation to cease immediately. Let Your healing virtue flow through her body, restoring her eyes to perfect health and function. Rebuke every attack of the enemy against her body, mind, and spirit, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You strengthen her faith in this moment. Help her to trust You even when the symptoms seem to worsen, knowing that You are working all things together for her good. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, comforting her and reminding her that You are near. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment she will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). This sickness will not have the final say—You, Lord, will have the victory.
We also pray for the doctors and medical professionals involved in her care. Give them wisdom and skill to provide the best treatment, and let every decision made align with Your perfect will for her healing. If there is any underlying spiritual root to this condition, reveal it to her, Lord, and grant her the grace to repent, forgive, or surrender as needed.
Father, we thank You in advance for her testimony of healing. We believe that You are moving even now, and we will give You all the glory. Let this trial draw her closer to You and strengthen her witness for Your kingdom. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, sister. Do not lose heart. Our God is faithful, and He hears your cries. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in agreement, believing for your complete and total healing. If the fear begins to overwhelm you again, speak the Word of God aloud over your situation. Declare His promises, and let faith arise in your heart. You are not alone in this—we are with you, and more importantly, He is with you.
