Please God

We hear the desperation in your cry, and our hearts are moved to lift you up before the Lord, for He is the God who hears the pleas of His people and responds with compassion. Your repeated plea, *"Please God, help us,"* echoes the heart of one who is in deep need, and we are reminded of the psalmist who cried out in similar distress: *"Out of the depths, I have cried to you, Yahweh. Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions"* (Psalm 130:1-2, WEB). You are not alone in this—God is near to the brokenhearted, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Yet as we pray for you, we must also ask: *Do you know the name by which all help comes?* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, no other name that carries the power to break chains, heal wounds, or deliver from despair—only the name of **Jesus Christ**. The Scriptures declare, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that He is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18) and the promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

We do not know the specifics of your plea, but we lift you up to the Lord, trusting that He knows your every need before you even speak it (Matthew 6:8). Perhaps you are facing financial ruin, a crumbling marriage, a wayward child, a battle with sin, or a body wracked with pain. Whatever the burden, bring it to Jesus. He said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Rest does not mean the absence of trials, but the presence of the One who walks with you through them.

If there is unconfessed sin in your life—whether pride, bitterness, sexual immorality, idolatry, or rebellion—we urge you to repent now. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). God’s help is near, but His blessing is withheld when we cherish iniquity in our hearts (Psalm 66:18). Turn from your sin, and turn to Him with all your heart.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious soul who cries out for Your help. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, the God who delivers. We ask that You would meet them in this moment of desperation and reveal Your power, Your love, and Your plan for their life. If they do not know Jesus as their Savior, we pray that You would open their eyes to see Him as He is—the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Draw them to repentance and faith, Lord, and let them experience the peace that comes from being reconciled to You.

If they are Your child, struggling under the weight of this trial, we ask for Your strength to sustain them. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them wisdom to navigate this season, faith to trust You even when they cannot see the way, and hope that anchors their soul in Your promises. Break every chain of fear, doubt, or despair, and fill them with the joy of Your salvation.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). No weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let Your light shine into every dark corner of their life, exposing sin, healing wounds, and restoring what has been broken.

Lord, provide for their every need—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Let them lack no good thing as they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Surround them with godly counsel, faithful brothers and sisters in Christ, and a community that will uphold them in prayer.

Most of all, Father, let them know *You*. Let them experience Your presence in a way they never have before, so that even in the storm, they can say with confidence, *"The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me"* (Hebrews 13:6).

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. God has not forgotten you. *"The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord"* (Lamentations 3:25-26, WEB). Keep seeking Him. Keep trusting Him. He *will* act on your behalf.
