Conflict often arises when pride, misunderstanding, or unchecked emotions take root. We encourage you to examine your heart and ask the Lord if there is anything He is calling you to surrender—whether it be a need to be right, unresolved bitterness, or fear. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If this situation involves another person, ask the Lord to help you respond with humility and grace, even if the other party does not. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), so we must rely on the Lord’s strength, not our own.
We also want to remind you that if this conflict is tied to a relationship outside of marriage—such as a courtship that is not honoring God or a situation involving fornication or emotional compromise—it is critical to address that root issue.
