Please Dear God, I need your guidance. I need Christ's mercy. Give me the strength to work towards a relationship that has been broken. We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer. We hear your cry for guidance, mercy, and strength, and we are moved by your desperation. First, we thank God that you have come to Him in Jesus' name, for it is only in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is said in the WEB "in no other was there salvation. For there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Your situation is not unique, for many of us have felt broken and alone, crushed by the weight of our circumstances. But let us remind you of the words in Romans 8:28 WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in your pain, God can work it out for good.
However, we want to remind you that God's will is for your ultimate good. Sometimes, that may mean releasing a relationship that is not aligned with His principles. We do not know the details of your situation, but we encourage you to examine your relationship and ensure it aligns with biblical principles. If it is a relationship that would be considered fornication, or if it is not a God-honoring relationship, then it should be repented from and turned away from.
In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
If you are not yet married, and are having sex with the person you are in a relationship with, then you are living in fornication and should repent and turn away from this. Marriage should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Any relationship outside of that is not God's will for your life.
