We join with you in prayer today and throughout this month of September, lifting up your heart's desires before our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we have access to the Father and by whom we are saved.

We hear your burden for your finances, your bills, and your desire to prosper in the work God has given you as a psychologist, therapist and family counselor. We understand the pressure of needing income and clients, and we pray with you for God's provision. We are reminded of His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We also remember the call to seek Him first, for But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33. Our encouragement to you is to keep your practice centered on honoring God, serving people with integrity and diligence, for The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23.

We want to speak with love about two things you shared. You asked for forgiveness if you hurt anybody or did wrong, but then you added that you have not done wrong to anybody. We gently correct this, because Scripture teaches us that for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. A humble heart that honestly confesses need is precious to God, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. We encourage you to continue to search your heart before the Lord and remain humble and teachable, trusting in His grace and not in our own innocence.

We also want to counsel you regarding your request for a woman to take an internship and pay fees. We pray God brings the right person if it is His will, but we urge you to conduct all business with fairness, transparency and godly ethics, not seeing an intern merely as a source of income, but as someone to mentor and serve honestly. The Lord delights in honest dealings and in shepherding others well. As you seek more marriage counseling and couple therapy opportunities, we affirm with you the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and we pray your counseling will strengthen marriages to honor Christ, encourage reconciliation, purity and lifelong commitment, and point couples to God's design.

We now pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for our brother. We thank You that he trusts in You and calls upon the name of Jesus. We ask You to provide for his financial needs this week and throughout September, to pay his bills according to Your perfect will and timing. Open doors for godly counseling opportunities, especially for marriages and families that need Your healing. Give him wisdom, compassion, discernment and words that lead couples toward repentance, forgiveness and love that reflects Christ and the church. Grant him favor as a therapist, but keep his heart anchored in serving You rather than only seeking prosperity. Search his heart, forgive any sin, cleanse him and make his motives pure. If it is Your will, bring an intern who will benefit from training and contribute fairly, and let all arrangements be just and honorable before You. Help him to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We trust You to grant what is best and to make his work fruitful for Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear how much you are carrying into September, bills that need paying, a deep desire to see marriages helped, and the hope to build a steady, honest practice as a psychologist and family counselor. Wanting to do good work and to provide at the same time is a real tension, and we are praying with you in it.

We appreciate your willingness to ask for forgiveness and to want to walk cleanly before others. Holding both humility and a clear conscience before God is a good place to stay.

For the practical pressures, one thing that has helped many in a similar spot is to get a clear, simple picture on paper. You might sit down this week with a trusted financial counselor, pastor, or a local nonprofit credit counseling service to list income, bills due and internship fee hopes, and make a short term plan for what can be paid when. Having a plan often eases anxiety and helps you make wise decisions about fees and internships with transparency and care. For growing your practice, reaching out to local training programs or colleagues about ethical internship structures can open doors more steadily than waiting for one person to appear.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. Provide for his needs this week, give him wisdom with finances and with each couple he serves, and guide his steps in building his work with integrity and compassion. Lead him to the right supports and keep his heart at peace as he trusts You. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before us and we have considered it with care and with earnest desire for your good. We thank you that you profess trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and apart from Him there is no true peace with God and no true prosperity for the soul.

You ask the Lord for forgiveness if you have hurt any, and then you add that you have not done wrong to anybody. Let us entreat you to look more closely into your own heart before the Lord. The Scripture teaches that all have sinned and that even the most careful among us has need to cry, God be merciful to me a sinner. It is a good sign when a man feels his need of Christ as the Lamb who bore our sins, for there is no marriage between the soul and Christ if we will not have Him as the Lamb. Till we see His wounds and His blood we have no love to Him, and till we own our sin we shall not prize His mercy. Ask the Lord not only to forgive any hurt you may have done to others, but to search you and show you your own heart, that you may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, for there is no growth in grace except as we grow in our knowledge of Christ.

You ask for prosperity in your work as a psychologist and counsellor, that many may come for marriage counselling and that your bills may be paid. We understand the pressure of daily wants and the desire to see your labour prosper. Yet we would remind you what true prosperity is. The prosperity of which the Psalmist speaks is not first of all a full purse or a crowded appointment book, but that God arises and has mercy upon Zion and saves sinners. The pleasure of the Lord prospers in Christ's hands when souls are brought to Jesus, when the Word is faithfully preached and when prayer is fervent. In this age the children of God have been tried both with scoffing and with worldly honour, and while the men of this world are often ruined by their prosperity, the men of God flourish even in adversity because they are kept near to Christ. Pray therefore not only for many clients, but for the sanctified use of whatever prosperity the Lord may give, and for grace to be faithful whether the days be soft days of peace or winter days of trial. If the Lord increases your practice, let it be for His glory, that you may be a helper of those who come to you to know Christ better and to walk in His ways.

Concerning marriage counselling, remember what marriage is in the sight of God. It is not a mere contract for convenience, but a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love, wherein the two become one. It is the earthly picture of that greater mystery, the marriage of the Lamb, when Christ who loved His Church and gave Himself for her shall present her to Himself without spot. Any counsel you give, therefore, should honour that holy institution as God ordained it, and point husbands and wives to love, to choice, to faithfulness, and to that oneness which reflects Christ and His people. The consummation of redemption itself is set forth as the marriage supper of the Lamb, and blessed are they who are called to it. Point those who seek your help not only to better communication or happier feelings, but to Christ Himself, without whom no marriage can truly prosper.

You also ask for a woman to come as an intern and to pay fees, that your finances may be helped. If the Lord provides such help, see that you deal justly and kindly, not as one who seeks only gain, but as one who would be a nursing father to those entrusted to you, helping them to grow in faith and in skill with integrity. The Lord loves honesty and mercy in all our dealings, and the growth of your faith will be seen in your zeal for good works, your love to others, and your humility before God. Remember that growth in faith is very desirable, yet it comes not by our own striving alone but by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the ministry of the Word, through prayer, and through a close walk with Christ. You can hinder that growth by neglect of these means, and you can foster it by waiting upon the Lord.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His wisdom will provide for your daily needs, that He will give you grace to be faithful in your calling, that He will keep you from the snare of seeking prosperity for its own sake, and that He will make you an instrument of true healing as you point others to the Saviour. May He teach you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that what you need will be added according to His fatherly wisdom. May He deepen your faith, increase your knowledge of Christ, and cause your work to prosper in that highest sense, that sinners may be saved and saints built up, and that in all things Christ may have the preeminence.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we bring it before the Lord Jesus Christ together with you. You have asked for His help in your work as a psychologist, therapist and family counselor, for many opportunities to counsel marriages and couples today and through the whole month of September, for provision for your bills and income, and for a woman to come as an intern and to pay the required fees.

We thank God that you want to strengthen marriages. Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and is a bond ordained by God, to be kept in holiness, purity and faithfulness. It is not an impure state but a calling that requires gravity, order and chasteness. To counsel marriages is a good and serious work, because you are helping to preserve what God has joined together. Do this work not only for gain but to serve Christ and to lead those you counsel toward peace and holiness within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, which alone reflects His design.

You asked Jesus for forgiveness if you have hurt anyone or done wrong, and then you said you have not done wrong to anyone. The Scriptures tell us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and that forgiveness comes only through Jesus Christ alone. It is good to ask for forgiveness, and we encourage you to continue to examine your heart honestly before God, to confess any sin known or unknown, and to trust not in your own innocence but in the mercy and blood of Christ for salvation. In Him alone we have forgiveness and peace with God.

Concerning your finances and your desire to prosper and to have many counseling opportunities this week, God knows your needs and He cares for you. He calls us to work diligently and to make provision for what is necessary for health and for our households, but not to make provision to fulfill mere desire or the love of money. Pray not only for abundance but for wisdom, contentment and integrity in your practice, so that your income may come through honest service that truly helps people. If God provides an intern, pray for one who comes with a sincere desire to learn and to serve, and deal with her fairly and justly in all matters of fees and training, with full transparency and honor.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus Christ, we come to You as the only Savior and Lord. Forgive our sins according to Your great mercy and cleanse us by Your cross. Grant to our brother wisdom and grace as he counsels marriages and families, that he may speak truth in love and point couples to Your design for marriage. Provide for his daily needs, open doors for honest and helpful work in September and beyond, and teach him to use what You provide for Your glory and for the good of others. Keep him in holiness and guard him from every wrong way, and help him to trust Your perfect will above all. In Your holy name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart so honestly and for bringing these needs before the Lord. God hears when you call on Jesus, and He is both willing and able to provide for you according to His wisdom and love.

One thing Scripture shows is that even when something looked hopeless, God left room for Himself to work. Under the old law there was a detailed instruction for what should happen on the day a person with leprosy was found to be clean. From a human point of view that disease had no cure, yet God wrote into the law a way for cleansing and restoration if He chose to heal. That teaches us not to put God in a box. He is not limited by our bills, our lack of clients, or what looks impossible. He can make a way where we see no way, and we should always give Him room to work as He desires, trusting His power and His timing rather than demanding a specific outcome.

That same picture shows that even within the law God made a place for grace to operate. Jesus Himself told a man He had healed to go and follow what Moses commanded as a testimony. God is gracious and He provides a way back, a way to be made clean and to be restored to community.

That brings me to what you shared about forgiveness. You asked Jesus for forgiveness if you have hurt anyone, and then added that you have not done wrong to anyone. Scripture is clear and gentle on this point, and it is important for all of us. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and God has made only one provision for sin. There is no other way for sin to be taken away except through the blood of Jesus Christ His Son. To come to Him is to come to the light. To turn away from Him is to remain under condemnation already, because the light has come into the world. The one thing that cannot be forgiven is to refuse that one provision and reject Jesus. So the best place to stand is not in saying we have done no wrong, but in humbly confessing our need and receiving the forgiveness that only Jesus gives. He alone is the provision God has made for your sin and mine, and when we trust Him we are not condemned but receive new life.

You also asked for help as a psychologist, therapist and family counselor, especially in marriage counseling. Scripture teaches that marriage is God's design where two become one. It is a compound unity, one flesh, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. In the resurrection Jesus said people will neither marry nor be given in marriage but will be like the angels in heaven, which reminds us that marriage belongs to this life and is to be honored as God created it. As you counsel couples, you have a meaningful opportunity to uphold that design with compassion and truth, helping couples understand commitment, faithfulness and reconciliation in a way that honors the Lord.

Concerning finances, bills, income, and the desire for an intern who will pay fees, God does provide for our daily needs. In the law God even made provision for a hungry person to go into a neighbor's field and eat enough to be satisfied, but not to carry away extra to sell for profit. God provides what is needed, and He calls us to receive and use provision honestly. Pray that God will supply what you need for your bills and your household, and that any opportunity for an intern would be honest, ethical and helpful for both of you, not exploitative. Ask Him to bring the right people to you, and to help you serve them with integrity and skill, so that your work is truly helpful and not just a means to income.

I will pray for you that God, according to His perfect will, will provide for your financial needs, give you wisdom in your counseling work, bring to you those you can truly help, and guide any internship opportunity so it is right and fair before Him. I pray above all that you will rest in Jesus as your only hope for forgiveness and life, walk in the light with Him, allow Him room to work in ways you may not expect, and know His grace and peace as you trust Him day by day.
