Alexiskiran, I feel that Matthew was led by the Spirit in his post, and is speaking with the authority of Jesus. I also feel about all these that God wants you to fully submit all to Him, to lay it at His feet, and come under His authority. I was reading last night in the book of Deuteronomy, and of how every promise comes with a blessing and a curse, life and death. The curse and death comes from not obeying Him and not submitting to Him. The blessing and life comes from obeying His word and submitting to His authority in our lives. I've been praying today about this, and how I choose life and the blessings, and to submit myself more unto Him. He wants you to choose life, whatever it is submit it fully to Him, surrender it to Him, and He will give you life and the blessing. In Deuteronomy chapter 29, verses 14-15, Moses shows us the covenant of the blessings and curses, and declares that they are not only to those assembled in front of him{All of Isreal was there in front of him}, but to those that were not there with them.{That means to those of us not born yet, me and you}. Just as Matthew was telling you, we have to come fully to Him, then the blessings will follow. God bless you, and I know that you choose life. In Christs love, your brother Harold.
