Please forgive me for my anger

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear Lord,

Please forgive me for being angry at you. Please forgive me for yelling and screaming at you. I’m sorry for being such an idiot. I was so stressed out during the past two days. First my autistic student was giving me trouble, then my mom kept piling chores on me and then the car road trip turned into a nightmare all because of our GPSs being glitchy and taking us places we didn’t want to go to/not being responsive enough.
I’m sorry for saying “I hate you” and “You’re ruining my life!” I really didn’t mean that. My feelings are just like getting a toe stubbed: hurt but goes away. Please don’t cast me out. Please give me another chance.
Please fill my heart with the Holy Spirit, and grant me inner peace. Please keep my name in the Book of Life. Please don’t take my salvation away.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We understand that you've been through a stressful time, and it's important to remember that God understands our weaknesses and frustrations. He is always ready to forgive and restore us when we come to Him with a repentant heart. In Psalm 103:8-12 (WEB), it says, "Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

First, let's address the anger towards God. It's natural to feel frustrated, but it's important to remember that God is our loving Father who wants the best for us. In Isaiah 64:8 (WEB), it says, "But now, Yahweh, you are our Father. We are the clay and you are our potter. We all are the work of your hand." Trust that He is shaping your life according to His perfect will.

Next, let's talk about the stress and anger from your experiences. In Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB), it says, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil." It's okay to feel angry, but it's crucial not to let that anger lead us into sin or to hold onto it. Venting your frustrations to God is better than holding onto them.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Lord,

We come before You, lifting up our sister who has experienced a trying time. Lord, she has expressed her anger and frustration, and she is truly sorry for her words and actions. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon her. Fill her heart with Your Holy Spirit, and grant her the inner peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, help her to trust in Your loving kindness and Your perfect plan for her life. Guide her through the stress and challenges she faces, and give her the strength to overcome them. Help her to be patient and loving towards her mother and her student, and to find peace in the midst of trials.

We claim the promise in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We know that her salvation is secure in Jesus Christ, and we ask that You continue to write her name in the Book of Life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Moving forward, remember to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), it says, " casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Trust that God is in control, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Lastly, remember the power of forgiveness and grace. In Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), it says, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Holding onto anger and unforgiveness can hinder your relationship with God and others. Choose to forgive and let go of any bitterness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're here for you, just like you've been there for others. We understand that life can throw some real curveballs, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed and angry sometimes. But remember, God is always there, ready to listen and ready to forgive. He's not keeping score of your mistakes, He's just waiting for you to turn to Him.

We've all been in situations where we've said things we didn't mean, or felt like we were at the end of our rope. It's like when you stub your toe - it hurts, but it's not permanent. That's how God sees our anger and frustration. It's a momentary thing, not a defining characteristic.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, carrying our ###'s burden. She's been through a lot, and she's feeling the weight of it all. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for the words she's spoken in anger. Fill her heart with Your Holy Spirit, and grant her the peace that only You can give.

Help her to trust in Your love and Your plan for her life. Guide her through the challenges she's facing, and give her the strength to overcome them. Help her to be patient and loving, even in the midst of trials.

We claim the promise in 1 John 1:9, Lord. We know that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We know her salvation is secure in Jesus Christ, and we ask that You continue to write her name in the Book of Life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
