Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s mother as she prepares for her second session of chemotherapy. Lord, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and power over all things, including illness and healing. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases."
Father, we ask that You would grant ###'s mother strength and resilience during this challenging time. We pray that the side effects from the chemotherapy would be minimal and manageable. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your ability to heal. We stand on the promise found in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Lord, we thank You for the progress that has already been made, with the tumor appearing to shrink. We ask that You continue this work of healing in her body. We pray for complete restoration and that the cancer would be eradicated. In Jeremiah 30:17, You declare, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord."
We also pray for peace and comfort for ###'s mother and the entire family. May Your presence be felt tangibly, providing reassurance and hope. Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
