We are deeply moved by your love for your brother and we join with you in lifting him before our Father in prayer. We hear the ache in your heart that he cannot tell you where it hurts and that you had to make such a difficult decision for his care while you and your mother were walking through cancer. Please know that the Lord sees both your love and your sacrifice, and He sees your brother with perfect love and understanding even when words fail.

We thank God with you that He has brought you through cancer and that your mother's stage three colon cancer has stopped growing. That is His mercy at work, and we continue to ask for His sustaining hand upon you both.

Your brother is fearfully and wonderfully made and precious in the sight of God. For you formed my inward parts. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:13-14. Jesus has a special tenderness for those the world might overlook. But Jesus said, Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14. The Lord understands every sigh and every unspoken pain, even when your brother cannot express it. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. Romans 8:26.

We want to encourage you that placing your brother in a special needs home during your illness was not abandonment, it was an act of love and stewardship to ensure he was cared for when you physically could not care for him. The Lord does not condemn you for that, He honors a heart that seeks the best for the vulnerable. Continue to advocate for him with his doctors and caregivers, ask questions, ask them to look thoroughly for any hidden infection or pain beyond the pneumonia, and trust that God can give them wisdom to see what is not obvious to us.

Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3.

We pray together for him now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, and we thank You that we can come boldly through Him. We lift up this dear brother to You. You know him by name, You formed him, You know the number of his days and every detail of his body. Lord, You know the pneumonia that has put him in the hospital and You know if there is anything else hidden that is causing him pain or distress that he cannot speak. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon his lungs, to clear the infection, to ease his breathing, and to restore his strength. Father, reveal to the doctors and nurses anything that needs to be found, give them discernment and compassion as they care for one who cannot speak for himself. Comfort him in his fear and confusion, let him feel Your presence and peace even when he cannot understand what is happening. For this sister who loves him so deeply, and for her mother, grant peace that passes understanding, remove any guilt or heaviness, and remind them that You are holding her brother even more securely than they can. Strengthen this family who has already walked through cancer, and continue Your work of healing and sustaining in the mother's body as well. We trust this beloved brother into Your loving care, for You have promised, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and our access to You, amen.

We are thanking God that you prayed in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we are heard and saved. Continue to cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you and for your brother more than you can imagine. Keep seeking Him, keep staying close to the medical team, and know we are standing with you in prayer for complete healing and peace.

We hear how much you love your brother and how heavy it is to have him in the hospital with pneumonia when he cannot tell you what hurts. It makes sense that this feels so painful, especially when you and your mom are the ones who have learned over time to understand his few words and his ways of showing how he feels.

We are touched by all you have carried, placing him in a group home that could care for him while you and your mom faced cancer, and walking through your own treatment and your mom's. You have shown such faithful care for him, and it is understandable to feel sad and worried right now.

You know him better than anyone. One small thing that often helps in the hospital is sharing what you know with his nurses and doctors, letting them know the particular sounds, expressions, or movements that usually mean he is comfortable or uncomfortable for him. If it helps, you could jot those cues down briefly to hand to the staff so they can watch for them too, and stay in close contact with his care team about any changes you notice.

We are praying with you and for your mom as well.

Father, we lift this dear brother to You in Jesus' name. You know him fully and love him deeply. We ask for Your mercy and care over him in the hospital, for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for him, and for comfort and peace for him when he cannot speak his needs. Give his sibling and his mother strength, rest, and assurance that You see them and hold them all in Your hands. Amen.

Your prayer for your brother has been brought before the Lord with tender care, and we join you in lifting him up to the great Physician who sits at the right hand of God.

We hear the heaviness of your heart. To love one who cannot tell you where it hurts, who can speak only a few words that few can understand, is a deep and trying burden. Yet take comfort in this, that though man looks at the outward appearance, the Lord looks at the heart. Your brother may not have words to tell what troubles him, but all things are naked and open before Him who sees. Not one sigh, not one hidden pain is missed by our Father. He takes care of the little things, even the trifles of His children, and the leaves of that blessed tree which is Christ are for healing. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His common mercies are full of virtue to those who trust Him.

We thank God with you for His mercy already shown, that He has brought you through cancer and has stayed the growth of your mother's affliction. This is the Lord's doing, and it reminds us that where God begins to work, He does not ask us to finish, but He completes His own work. When the worst has come to the worst and our strength fails, then God arises and becomes our arm every morning and our salvation in the time of trouble.

We will pray that the Lord, if it be His will, will lay His healing hand upon your brother and deliver him from pneumonia, that He will guide the hands and minds of those who care for him in the hospital and in his home, and that He will reveal and relieve any hidden suffering which he cannot speak. We ask that God will give you and your mother peace as you wait, and strength to trust not in our own understanding but in the mercy of God through the blood of Jesus Christ, by which alone sin is forgiven and by which we have access to the throne of grace.

Rest in this, that to trust Him is true humility, like a child who takes his Father at His word. Look to the Son of God who poured out His life, and trust Him. He knows your brother perfectly, loves him far more than even you do, and hears your prayer offered in Jesus name.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we bring this dear brother before You. You know his frame, You know the burden of his illness, You see what is hidden from us. Have mercy upon him and grant healing according to Your perfect will. Comfort his heart though he cannot speak, and let Your presence be near to him. Comfort also his sister and his mother, sustain them with present peace and hope of future perfection, and keep them trusting in Your goodness. We ask this through the eternal merits of the Lamb slain for us. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your brother has been heard, and your deep love and care for him is evident in every word you have written. It is painful to watch someone you love suffer, especially when he cannot tell you where it hurts or what he needs, and when you have already carried so much with your own cancer and your mother's illness.

We join you in thanking God for your healing and for His mercy in slowing your mother's cancer, and we join you now in bringing your brother before the Lord. God knows him fully and loves him dearly. Even when only you and your mother can understand his few words, God understands every sound, every sigh, and every need. Scripture reminds us that when we do not have words, the Spirit intercedes for us, and that God is close to those who are weak and vulnerable and defends them with special care.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this beloved brother to You. You formed him, You know him, and You love him more than we can comprehend. We ask for Your healing hand upon his body as he battles pneumonia in the hospital. Grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses who care for him, give them discernment to find any hidden pain or illness that he cannot express, and bring comfort to his body. Ease his breathing, strengthen him, and if it is Your will, restore him to health. We also ask for peace for his family, for comfort in the painful decision to place him in a care home, and for assurance that Your love covers him day and night when they cannot be at his side. Sustain his sister and his mother with strength, hope, and rest. We trust him into Your good and merciful hands, knowing that You see him, You hear him, and You will never leave him. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
