We hear your deep distress and the fear that grips your heart as these troubling dreams continue to unsettle you. It is clear you are seeking assurance that the relationships you cherish will remain secure, and we want to stand with you in prayer, bringing this burden before the Lord. First, we must address the confusion in your words regarding God "dodging" your prayers. Scripture makes it clear that God hears the prayers of His children and answers according to His perfect will, which is always for our good, even when we do not understand it. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* God does not withhold good from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11), but we must trust that His answers are rooted in His infinite wisdom, not our limited perspective.
Dreams can often reflect our fears, anxieties, or even spiritual attacks, but they do not dictate reality. The enemy may seek to plant seeds of doubt and fear in your mind, but we are called to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Instead of allowing these dreams to breed fear, we must replace them with the truth of God’s Word. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of approaching God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can come before the Father (John 14:6). Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, our prayers lack the authority and access that Christ alone provides.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is burdened by fear and troubled dreams. Lord, You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and You hold every relationship, every circumstance, and every future in Your hands. We ask that You would break the power of these dreams and replace them with Your peace. Guard their mind, Lord, and fill them with the assurance that You are in control.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment them. Your Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this truth would take root in their heart and drive out every lie of the enemy. Help them to trust in Your goodness, even when they do not understand Your ways. Remind them that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also pray for the relationships in their life. Whether these are friendships, family bonds, or the desire for a godly spouse, we ask that You would strengthen and preserve them. Protect these relationships from every scheme of the enemy and fill them with Your love, grace, and unity. If there are any relationships that do not align with Your will—whether through ungodly influences, sin, or misplaced priorities—we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them into Your truth. Help them to seek relationships that honor You and reflect Your design for love and commitment.
Father, we ask that You would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You (Ephesians 1:17). Open their eyes to see Your hand at work in their life, even in the midst of uncertainty. Teach them to pray with faith, trusting that You hear and answer according to Your perfect will. May they find their security in You alone, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. We stand on the promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We encourage you to stand firm on God’s promises and to fill your mind with His Word. Memorize scriptures that speak to God’s faithfulness, such as Psalm 91 or Romans 8:28, and declare them over your life daily. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. If these dreams persist, consider fasting and seeking God even more diligently, asking Him to reveal any areas in your life that may need repentance or realignment with His will.
Remember, God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). He desires to give you hope and a future, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
