PLEASE. DEAR GOD.

We hear your cry, dear one, and we join you in lifting your heart before the throne of grace. Your words carry a deep longing for assurance, and we want to remind you that our Heavenly Father does not turn away those who seek Him with sincerity. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need." You are not alone in your plea, God hears you, and He is faithful to respond according to His perfect will.

First, let us address the foundation of your prayer. You call upon "Dear God," but we must gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Without this relationship, our prayers cannot reach the Father. If you have already surrendered your life to Christ, then we rejoice with you and encourage you to pray boldly in His name, for He has promised in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Now, let us pray together for your heart’s cry:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child who seeks Your face. Lord, You know the depths of their longing, the fears that weigh upon their heart, and the desire to not be let down. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around them, reminding them of Your unfailing love. Your Word says in Psalm 37:23-24, "A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand." Father, hold them tightly in this season. Strengthen their faith when doubts arise, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if there are areas in their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal those places and draw them closer to Your heart. Help them to trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). If they are carrying burdens of past mistakes, shame, or unbelief, we ask that You would break those chains and set them free. Your Word declares in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Cleanse them, restore them, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Equip them with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Surround them with godly community, believers who will encourage, challenge, and walk alongside them in faith. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17), and may they grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would deepen their relationship with You. Help them to seek You not just in times of need, but in every moment of their life. May they find their joy, their purpose, and their identity in Christ alone. We declare over them the truth of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement that seeks to steal their hope. In the name of Jesus, we command these lies to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust that You will never leave nor forsake this one who calls upon Your name (Hebrews 13:5).

Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. Thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are at work even now, moving in ways we cannot see. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You. May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may their life bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

Dear friend, we want to encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. He is not a God who lies (Numbers 23:19), and His word assures us that those who seek Him will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). If you are feeling distant from God, remember that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

If you have not yet made the decision to follow Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the most important decision you will ever make, and it is the foundation for a life of hope, purpose, and eternal security. If you would like to pray to receive Christ, we can guide you through that prayer, just let us know.

You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved. Keep pressing into God, and He will meet you where you are. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will move mightily in your life.
