This may seem silly for me asking this but I feel so strongly about it. One of my desires that I have had all my life was to make a living with my art. I haven't been able to do much painting or drawing due to my job. My job started out as only a part time job just to have a little extra money but lately I have realized it has become a full time job, a career I never I wanted to have. My desire is to keep doing what I love to do and that is drawing and painting. I firmly believe God gave me this wonderful talent and I don't want it to go to waste. I had to turn people down lately who wanted commission drawings from me for Christmas presents simply because I don't have the time. I want to be be able to make a descent living with selling my art. For the past few years, I have been working a very hard, stressful job that has done damage to my neck and spine. My husband won't let me quit work. I pray every day that God will help me.. This is not a silly prayer to ask of God , you already acknowledge that He has given you this talent and desire . We will pray for you , but this is the scripture that comes to my mind ..... " Seek first the kingdom of God ....  " He will give you the desires of your heart if you will always put Him first in your life . We will ask the Lord for wisdom and for Him to guide your husband as to concerning your job . We speak blessings over you both in the name of Jesus
