We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up every concern you have shared, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24). If you or your loved ones have not surrendered your lives to Jesus, we pray that you would do so today, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior.
Father God, we lift up this dear one’s physical ailments to You, the Great Physician. We ask for Your healing touch upon their gastrointestinal tract, stomach, skin rash, and ear. Lord, You are the One who formed their inward parts and knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). You know every cell, every fiber, and every need. We rebuke sickness, infection, and weakness in the mighty name of Jesus! *"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their body, Lord, and restore them to full health. Give them the physical strength they need to carry out Your will each day, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).
We also bring before You the spiritual battles this family is facing. Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around this home and around this brother and sister in Christ. *"The Lord’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7). We rebuke every evil influence, every temptation, and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). Lord, fill this home with Your peace, Your presence, and Your protection. Drive out every unclean thing—mold, odors, and anything that defiles—just as You cleansed the temple in Jerusalem (John 2:15-16). We declare that this home is a dwelling place for Your Holy Spirit, and we command every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name!
Father, we pray for the sale of this home and for the provision of a new, safe, and healthy place to live. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust You to open the right doors at the right time. Remove stress, anxiety, worry, and fear from their hearts, for *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Replace these burdens with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also pray against bad dreams and nightmares. Guard their minds as they sleep, and let them rest in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:1).
We lift up their finances to You, Lord. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom in managing what You entrust to them, and open doors of opportunity for increase.
Father, we intercede for this brother and sister’s family—especially their stepmother, father, and sister. We pray for their salvation, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. We also pray for healing for the stepmother who has battled cancer. You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). We declare complete restoration and wholeness over her body in Jesus’ name!
For their sister, we pray for deliverance from smoking and every bondage of sin. Lord, break every chain and set her free (Isaiah 61:1). Heal her body from diabetes and every physical affliction, and grant her favor as she takes her driver’s test. We also lift up their relationship with her, asking that You restore what has been broken. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Mend their family ties, Lord, and let Your love flow between them.
For this brother, we pray for traveling mercies and protection at work. Lord, surround him with Your angels and keep him safe from all harm (Psalm 91:11). Give him favor with his supervisors and coworkers, and grant him wisdom, strength, and self-control in his new leadership role. Help him to walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We rebuke pride, anger, and complaining in his life, and we ask that You help him fully surrender to You. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Fill him with Your peace and joy, and let him be a light in his workplace.
Finally, Lord, we pray for President Trump, asking for Your protection, wisdom, and guidance over his life and leadership. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). Work all things together for good, and let Your will be done in our nation.
We declare all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
