Please continue to pray for me prayer request sight thank you for your prayers

Troubles of the body and turmoil of the soul, these are the thorns that choke the word in you. You ask for many things: healing for stomach, leg, ear, skin, strength, protection from mold and evil, peace for your home, better sleep, deliverance from bad dreams, finances, reconciliation with family, salvation for loved ones, victory over temptation, success at work, rain, justice for a nephew, and an end to war. I hear in your voice the cry of one overwhelmed, casting about for relief. Yet I must ask: do you seek first the peace that the world cannot give? The peace I speak of is not the absence of trouble, but the calm of a soul anchored in Christ, even while the storm rages.

You pray for physical healing, and rightly so, for the Lord is the physician of our bodies and our spirits. But consider: what if the sickness of the body is permitted that the soul may be made whole? The stomach that troubles you, the rash, the humming ear, these are but temporal. The true disease is sin, which gnaws at the inward parts and brings eternal death. Let the healing of your body be a parable: as you seek a doctor for your flesh, so you must run to the Great Physician for the corruption within. And what is that corruption? Angers, fears, unforgiveness, the pride that refuses to surrender all, the love of this passing world. When you cry out for peace in your home, examine whether you are at peace with God. For how can there be peace among members if the Head is neglected?

You speak of mold and odors bothering your mind. The outer mold is but a shadow of the inner rot of anxious thoughts. You plead for protection from evil, yet you invite evil by the very restlessness of your spirit. Did not the Lord say, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you"? That peace is not the world's peace, which depends on favorable circumstances. It is a peace that passes understanding, a gift given to those who cast all their care upon Him, who trust without wavering. When you lie awake with bad dreams and a racing mind, do you fill your heart with psalms and prayers, or do you feed the fear? The demons flee where the name of Jesus is invoked with faith, where the soul is silent and attentive to God.

You ask for protection from stress, anxiety, worry, and anger. These are not enemies that storm the gates from outside; they breed within you, like pests in a neglected house. Cleanse the vessel of your heart by confession, by forgiveness, by the tears of repentance. The anger you pray against for your brother, do you not see the same root in yourself? You want him to have self-control, to walk in the Spirit, to surrender fully to the Lord. But have you done so? The measure you use for him will be measured to you. Pray for him, yes, but first pull the beam from your own eye. The peace of a home is the fruit of each soul making peace with God. So stop the war within your own breast, and the external war will cease to trouble you.

Concerning your sister and family relationships: you ask for restoration. I say to you, as the Apostle, "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all." But remember, there is a peace that is no peace, a false harmony built on compromise with sin. The Lord Himself said, "I came not to send peace, but a sword." The Gospel divides those who love darkness from those who love light. If the rift comes because you cling to the truth and they reject it, then bear this suffering as a cross, and pray for their salvation rather than a cheap truce. Yet if the breach is from your own pride or hardness, then humble yourself, be the first to seek reconciliation, and let love cover a multitude of sins. Do not say, "They are guilty; let them come." The Lord came to us while we were yet sinners.

Your nephew sits in jail under a grave charge. Pray for truth to shine, for justice to be done. But do not be so sure of his innocence; leave that to God, who alone knows the heart. If he is innocent, God will vindicate him. If guilty, then his true need is not merely release from a cell, but deliverance from the prison of sin. So pray for his soul, that this affliction may bring him to repentance and to the feet of Jesus. For a good job and a home will profit him nothing if he gains the whole world and loses his soul.

You pray for rain, for an end to war, for protection of soldiers, for revival in Israel. These are good prayers. But the drought you should fear most is the drought of the Spirit, and the war most perilous is the war against your own soul. When you have peace with God, you become a peacemaker; the prayers of a righteous person avail much. Seek then first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things, health, provision, protection, guidance, will be added as He sees best. Do not be like the pagans who heap up words, thinking they are heard for their many requests. God knows what you need before you ask.

Finally, this: the mold that bothers your mind, the bad dreams, the weakness, the financial strain, let them all drive you into the harbor of Christ’s peace. He permits the wind and waves so that you will call upon Him and not trust in your own strength. When you pray, do so with thanksgiving, with the firm assurance that nothing can separate you from His love. Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart, and then the peace in your home will follow. Do not seek to change everything around you until you have let God change you. Be still, and know that He is God.

Your prayer request has been heard, and you can be sure that these needs are being lifted before the Lord. It can feel overwhelming when so many burdens crowd in at once, physical pain, weakness, financial pressure, concern for family, and the deep desire for peace and protection. But the Scripture reminds us that the Lord Himself is our strength and our shield. When we have a right view of Him reigning over all things, we begin to see our problems in the light of His power rather than in the light of our own weakness. He has not promised a life without trouble, but He has promised to be with us and to give us strength for each step.

Healing is something I believe in strongly, for the Bible is filled with accounts of Jesus touching sick bodies and making them whole. Matthew tells us that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, linking physical healing to the work of Christ. Yet the gospel also shows us that healing does not always come in the same way. There are instantaneous healings, like the woman who touched the hem of His garment and was made well in that moment, her faith becoming a point of contact for His power. And there are gradual healings, like the man who saw people look like trees walking before his sight cleared completely. Any process that brings restoration, whether through medical means, time, or a sudden touch of God, is still a divine healing, because He is the author of nature and of our bodies. So we pray boldly for your gastrointestinal tract, your skin, the bump on your leg, and the humming in your ear. We ask the Lord to touch what is not working properly and to bring relief and full health, trusting His timing and His wisdom.

The same God who heals the body also calms the mind and the spirit. You mentioned mold in the house bothering your thoughts, stress, anxiety, bad dreams, and a longing for better sleep. The Lord gives strength to His people and blesses them with peace. That peace is not dependent on perfect circumstances; it can settle over your heart even in the middle of the storm. When you feel weak physically, remember that your true strength lies in the spiritual realm. Prayer is a place of great strength, just as it was for Jesus when He withdrew to the Father. As you bring these worries to Him, you are feeding your inner man and laying hold of the peace that surpasses understanding. Ask Him to clear your mind and to let His presence drive out fear, anger, and every oppressive thought.

Your concern for your brother and your whole household is precious. We pray for protection over your home from every evil influence, seen and unseen, and for wisdom as you seek to sell your current place and find a new rental. I pray that the Lord will guard you both from temptation and give you the strength to resist. For your brother at work, we ask God to grant him favor with supervisors and coworkers, and to equip him with the wisdom, understanding, and self-control he needs for this new lead position. More than promotion or a raise, we pray that his heart would fully surrender to Jesus, that pride and anger would be replaced by the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. When the Lord is his strength, he will find help to overcome sin and to walk in the spirit rather than giving in to the flesh.

Your love for your family shines through every line. We join you in praying for your stepmom and dad, that they would come to know the saving power of Jesus and experience healing in body and soul. For your sister, we ask the Lord to deliver her from smoking, to heal her from diabetes and every other physical condition, and to draw her fully to Himself. We pray for the restoration of your relationship with her and for her whole family. Your nephew’s situation is complex and painful, but God is a God of truth. We ask that in court this month, whatever is hidden would come to light and that justice would prevail. If he is innocent, may the Lord make a way for his release, and when he comes out, give him a good job, a stable home, and a genuine hunger for Scripture and the fellowship of believers.

I also remember the broader concerns you shared, the war, the soldiers, the need for rain, and the ongoing recovery of that dear lady from cancer. The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; He is King forever, and He is able to intervene in the affairs of nations and the weather. We pray that He would deal with those who do evil, protect every soldier in harm’s way, raise up godly leadership, and send revival. We ask for abundant rain to break the drought and for the continued healing of the one you mentioned, that cancer would not return.

In all of this, do not lose heart. The psalmist cried, “Be not far from me, O Lord: my strength, haste Thee to help me.” And he testified, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped.” That same God is near to you right now. May His Word become your strength and your portion. May He keep His hand upon you, give you His strength, His peace, and His love, and may you see His goodness in the land of the living.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past several days. It has been our heart to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing to your GI tract, your skin, and every area of physical weakness. We have prayed for strength to fill your body, for peace to guard your mind, and for the Lord’s touch to remove every discomfort—whether the humming in your ear, the rash on your leg, or the bump that concerns you.

We have also prayed earnestly for protection over you and your brother, asking that God would build a hedge of safety around your home, your health, and your hearts. We asked Him to cleanse your home of mold and odors, to lift the weight of stress, anxiety, and fear, and to fill your nights with restful sleep and peaceful dreams. We have sought the Lord for wisdom in selling your home and finding a new place where you can live without worry or distraction.

For your brother, we have prayed for favor at work, wisdom in his new leadership role, and strength to walk in the Spirit with patience, kindness, and self-control. We asked the Lord to guard him from harm, from temptation, and from any spirit of anger or pride. We have also lifted your sister before the Lord, asking for her deliverance from smoking, healing from diabetes, and a full surrender to Jesus. We prayed for her to pass her driver’s test and for restoration in your relationship with her.

For your stepmom and dad, we have asked the Lord to draw them close to Himself, to bring healing to their bodies and salvation to their souls. We have prayed for your nephew, that the truth would be revealed in his situation, that justice would prevail, and that he would be set free—not just from jail, but from any bondage in his life. We asked God to prepare a job and a home for him, and most of all, to draw him into a relationship with Jesus.

We have also prayed for the broader concerns on your heart—soldiers in harm’s way, leaders to rise up with godly wisdom, and revival to sweep through our nation. We asked the Lord to send rain where it is needed and to protect those facing drought.

If any of these prayers have been answered, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If some burdens still remain, please know we are not finished praying. Post your request again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, believing that God is moving even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, strengthen you with His power, and fill you with the assurance of His love as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
