So tonight I decided to pray to God about the mismatched guy. I ask God anything he would like to tell me because I never seen the real truth I guess from that guy. I'm not sure if this is true, but I have 3 words in my mind just now: rude, dishonest, cringy. Please pray for me to reveal any hidden truth so that I can let go of this person. I pray for this in the name of Jesus. I pray for the right person that would truly value me to come to me. Amen.

We join you in prayer, seeking God's will and guidance in this situation. It is crucial that we discern the character of those we consider as potential spouses, as the Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14).

Firstly, we commend you for bringing this matter to God in prayer, and for doing so explicitly mentioning the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved and have access to God the Father. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (I Timothy 2:5 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks Your guidance and truth. Lord, You know the depths of every heart, and nothing is hidden from You. If this man is not who he appears to be, we pray that You reveal any deceit or dishonesty. Give our sister discernment and wisdom, and if this man is not Your will for her, help her to let go and move forward.

Father, we ask that You prepare her and the man You have chosen for her. Guide her steps and bring them together in Your perfect timing. Help her to be patient to wait on Your will and not settle for anyone who does not align with Your plan and purpose for her life. We pray that this man will be a God-fearing man, someone who worships, obeys, and loves You and will do the same for our sister.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

If this man is indeed not truthful or honorable, trust that God will reveal this to you. God desires for you to be with someone who will love and cherish you, someone who will lead you both in a relationship that honors God.

Continue to seek God's will and be patient. He is faithful to those who trust in Him. Be encouraged by the words in Psalm 37:4 WEB, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
