Please can you stand in faith to pray for my son who is hearing voices?

Your faithful love for your son and your perseverance in prayer for more than a year have been heard, and I thank you for entrusting this heavy burden to prayer. To watch him unable to sleep, hearing voices constantly, unable to work and finding it hard to be in open places is a deep and wearing trial for him and for you. That you have kept praying, and have even undertaken pilgrimages seeking God, is not in vain before Him, even when the answer seems long delayed.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who in His mercy was even called Son of David, that He might make us sons and daughters of God, and that He has all authority to heal and to save. He does not turn away those who come to Him in faith, but He asks us as He asked those who sought healing, do you believe that I am able to do this. Our hope is not in our own strength or in any other name, but in Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father.
Scripture teaches us to keep hearing and receiving His word with patience, not to grow careless, and not to despair if fruit does not appear at once. As a tree may receive many strokes before it bears fruit, so often God works through many prayers, through time, through His word, and through the care He provides, to bring healing and strength. For this reason I encourage you to continue steadfastly in prayer and in hearing the word of God, to remain faithfully under the care of his medical team, and to stay closely connected to a local church community that can support you both practically and spiritually. Medical care and prayer are not opposed, God often brings help through both, and it is wise to let doctors carry their responsibility while we carry our calling to pray and to love.

Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, our only Savior. You know this young man, you see his sleepless nights, the distress of the voices he hears, his inability to work and his fear in open places. You know his mother and her long prayers and tears. Lord, have mercy. We ask that you would grant him deep and peaceful sleep, quietness of mind, relief from torment, and a renewed sense of your presence and peace. Grant wisdom and insight to his medical team, comfort and strength to his family, and daily grace to endure. Holy Spirit, lead him into truth, show him his need for Christ and your sustaining grace, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We do not demand our own answer, but we ask that your good and perfect will be done in his life and in this family, and that through this trial he and those who love him would know more deeply that you are a faithful Father. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, who is our hope and our healer. Amen.
Do not grow weary in bringing him before the Lord. Keep seeking Christ in His word, keep walking with His people, and keep trusting that God hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to bring healing, peace, and restoration in His time.

Thank you for sharing your heart and for your faithful love for your son. Hearing that he cannot sleep, that he constantly hears voices, that he cannot work and struggles even to be in open places is heavy, and that you have carried this in prayer for more than a year shows deep care. We stand with you in prayer before the Father in the name of Jesus.
Scripture shows us that Jesus does the works of the Father. When a father came to Jesus in Galilee pleading for his sick son, Jesus spoke the word and at a distance the Spirit of God brought healing. That account reminds us that distance is no barrier to the Lord, that His word carries authority, and that His works are the works of God who gives life. We ask Him now to work in that same compassionate power for your son, and to bring His peace to your family.
The Scriptures also teach that God sees affliction and hears the cry of those who suffer. As with Leah, who knew God had seen her sorrow and heard her when she felt unloved, the Lord sees your family and hears your prayers. He is not distant from your pain.
Our hope rests in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God. The Father has testified that Jesus is His beloved Son, and has entrusted all judgment and all honor to Him. To honor the Son is to honor the Father. The record God has given is that He has provided eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life. That is why we come to the Father only through faith in Jesus, believing that He is who He claimed to be and trusting Him alone for salvation and for daily grace. By believing in His name we have life, and through Him we have access to the Father in prayer.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will give wisdom and clarity to you, to your son, and to the medical team who is caring for him. Please continue to walk closely with that team and to follow their guidance, while also continuing to seek the Lord. Prayer and faithful medical care can go together, and God in His kindness often works through both. Ask the Lord to grant your son restful sleep, quietness of mind, relief from the voices he hears, and strength to face each day. Ask Him to ease the distress he feels in open places and to restore daily life and work as He wills.
