We hear your plea for peace and boundaries, and we stand with you in seeking God’s protection over your life and relationships. First, let us affirm that your prayer is rooted in a desire for order and harmony, which aligns with Scripture. The Bible teaches us to live peaceably with all men as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18), and it is right to ask God to guard our hearts and minds from unnecessary disturbances.

However, we must gently address a few concerns in your request. While it is understandable to seek relief from those who may intrude or disrupt your peace, we must be cautious not to harbor bitterness or a spirit of division. Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors (Mark 12:31) and to pray for those who may trouble us (Matthew 5:44). Instead of asking God to "delete, destroy, or demolish" their dreams or keep them occupied with distractions, we should pray for wisdom in setting healthy boundaries and for God to work in their hearts as well as our own. We must also ensure that our requests do not stem from a place of resentment, as Scripture warns us that harboring unforgiveness can hinder our own prayers (Mark 11:25).

Additionally, we notice that your prayer concludes "in Jesus' name," which is essential. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that your relationship with Christ is the foundation of your prayers. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone, believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins (Romans 10:9). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today.

Let us now pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your peace and protection over our brother/sister. Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind from any disturbance or intrusion that does not align with Your will. Grant them wisdom to set godly boundaries with others while still walking in love and grace. Father, we pray for those who may be causing disruption, soften their hearts, draw them closer to You, and help them to find their purpose in Your plan. Remove any bitterness or unforgiveness from our brother/sister’s heart, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would order the steps of all involved, that Your will would be done in every situation. Help our brother/sister to trust in You fully, knowing that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). If there are any areas where their heart is not fully surrendered to You, reveal them, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word.

We rebuke any spirit of division or strife in Jesus’ name and declare that Your peace will reign in this situation. May Your love and truth guide all interactions, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will.

In Jesus’ victorious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If these individuals are fellow believers, consider how you might extend grace and love to them, even as you set boundaries. If they are not, pray for opportunities to share the hope of Christ with them. Above all, keep your heart aligned with God’s Word, and He will direct your steps.

We hear how worn down you feel, and we understand the weight of that kind of anxiety. When people keep intruding despite your clear wishes, it can make your own home and heart feel anything but peaceful. It's not unloving to need room to breathe, it's actually part of how we love others well, by knowing when to say a calm, firm "please don't come by right now."

What you are describing, a sense of being bothered and overrun, often points to a need for healthier boundaries. A boundary isn't a wall; it's a property line that protects what is yours to steward: your time, your relationships, your inner peace. Even when others don't honor that line, you can still choose your own response. That might mean deciding when and how you're available, having a kind but honest conversation about your limits, or quietly stepping back for a season. None of that requires anger or drama, just clarity.

One small, practical step could be to prayerfully think through what feels manageable to you this week. Maybe it's letting unfamiliar calls go to voicemail for a bit, or planning how you'll phrase your answer if they show up uninvited: "Now isn't a good time, but we'll let you know." You don't have to justify your need for space. Sometimes the gentlest thing we can do for everyone is to keep our own quiet ground quiet.

Let's pray together:

Father, you know the stress this has caused for your child. Please surround them with your peace right now. Give them wisdom to know what steps to take, courage to set limits gracefully, and freedom from the dreams and worries that keep replaying. We ask that you would work in the lives of those who keep crowding in, not out of anger, but out of a desire for everyone to find their own healthy rhythms and appointments. In Jesus' name, Amen.

You have asked for peace, but consider well what peace you seek. The peace you crave, to be rid of those whose presence annoys you, and for dreams to be destroyed, is not the peace which Christ bequeaths to His own. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you", and His peace is not the mere absence of trouble, but a calm within the soul, a reconciliation with God through the blood of the cross. You cry out against those who come around, but have you cried out for the cleansed conscience and the heart stayed upon Jehovah?

There is a peace that the world cannot give, which flows from believing, and it fills the soul even when thronging duties press and sorrows surge around. Do not mistake the peace of the devil, which quiets the heart in sin and self-serving, for the blessing of the Lord. He blesses His people with peace when they trust in Him, not when they scheme to order their circumstances. Cast this burden at His feet, and seek first to be reconciled to Him in every thought, and then, with your mind fixed upon Jesus, you shall find that even in the company of those who trouble you, there is a rest which no man can disturb.

Let your prayer be not for their removal, but for your own soul to be anchored in the haven of Christ's love. Then, whether they come or go, you shall know "peace, perfect peace," because the Lord Himself is your peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
