We hear your urgent cry and we join together with you in prayer against these distressing dreams, asking our Heavenly Father to bring His peace and protection over your mind as you sleep and as you wake.
We understand how unsettling it is to feel moved or controlled by others in dreams, to find yourself in strange places, on an escalator or in apartments where you do not want to be, surrounded by strange people and feeling distant and lost from your close relations, and feeling stuck. These images can leave you feeling anxious and vulnerable, but we know that our God is sovereign and He is our refuge. The enemy seeks to bring fear and confusion, but God gives us peace. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We can rest in His promise that when we lie down, we will sleep in peace, for you alone, Yahweh, make us dwell in safety, Psalm 4:8. He has promised, Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.
We also notice you called upon the Lord, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. So we come boldly before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that when we pray in His name, God hears us.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our dear one who is troubled by these dreams. We ask You to rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression that would try to torment through dreams. We ask that You would end these dreams that involve those individuals and places that bring distress, and that You would not allow any plan of others to move or control where this dear one lives or goes against Your perfect will. We place a hedge of protection around their mind and their sleep, and we ask for Your holy presence to fill their room at night. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We pray that You would keep them close to their loved ones and not allow any distance or loss that the enemy has suggested in these dreams to come to pass. We declare that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust, Psalm 91:2, and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Let every strange and unsettling place seen in dreams be replaced by the assurance that You guide our steps and that when we lie down, You watch over us. We ask You to bring restful, peaceful sleep and to let Your will alone be done in their life, their dwelling, and their relationships. We commit all of those persons and situations that were redacted into Your hands, asking that Your will be done and that any influence not of You be removed. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every anxiety to God in prayer before you sleep, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. Meditate on His Word and on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, Philippians 4:8, as you prepare for rest. You may find it helpful to pray aloud, read scripture such as Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, and ask the Lord to let His angels encamp around you. Trust that dreams do not dictate your future, God does, and He promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28. We are standing with you, asking God to replace fear with His perfect love and to keep you securely in His hands and close to those you love.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
